Gaming Need Help with 256GB Micro SD Card (PSP)

As Title says.

I need help with my 256GB Micro SD Card.

My PSP shows the Micro SD Card only having 104GB out of 256GB

The Micro SD Card i got is this one (Linked below):

The Memory Stick Pro Duo Micro SD Adapter i got is this one (Linked below):

i have the card formatted to Fat32 as the tutorials i seen say to. i formatted with guiformat while the PSP was plugged into my PC via USB Cable.

is there anything i can do to get the PSP to read the full (or near full) space of the Micro SD Card?

Did you tried to format it with the PSP ?
System Settings - Format Memory Stick.

yes it either says, Format failed or No Memory Stick inserted.

Can you please try to format it on an PC without the Memory Stick/Micro SD Adapter (only the SD Card) ?

yes it says the full 256GB space.

I think your Memory Stick/SD Card Adaptor maybe did not work correctly.

i did it read up to 104GB on the PSP.
and one of the reviews for the Adaptor says they got it to work with a 256GB Micro SD Card. so that why i ordered it.

Sadly there is NO guarantee which Adaptor is working on which Card size.Also there are known issues with this Adaptors in the PSP.

Most of them has a limit of 64 GB.

my only hope is i can go over the 104GB my PSP is displaying.

Sounds like you got sold a dud SD card. Dont buy them from eBay, theyre 1/2GB cards faked to look like 100/200+GB...

If you try copying some files, say over 1GB in size to the memory card, then take it out and in - does it read the files okay? If not its a fake, most likely. Get from a reputable seller.

I do not even know that 256GB is possible, but test card with h2testw to be sure that card isn't fake

I bought a dual slot adapter (fake cr-5400) on ebay from motoheatusa where the 2nd slot does not work, BUT the 1st slot does, and it supports 128GB MicroSD card branded by Micro Center. Am currently trying to find a way to 256GB but no luck so far.
Seems to be a limitation of the adapters. Need to find a real CR-5400...
