So, I got a Wii U that came with no gamepad and
after trying to boot it up it starts to update then error 162-0087 appears,
which doesn't let me enter the Wii U menu or do anything,
I really don't know what to do, and if I need a gamepad to fix this.
Please help.

Thank you for your answer but I already tried to unplug the Wii U and as I said, I can't access the Wii U menu because the error is blocking me from doing that.

Hello,

DNS in the Wii U settings are not they activate ??

Disable and try again.

Thank you for your answer but I can't access the Wii U menu so I can't access the system settings, is there any way I can do that?

I think you're screwed unless you have a nand backup and that would require a hardmod.
