Hi there,

I recently had some issues with my Wii U (solved here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-u-stuck-in-loading-loop.542105/)

However, when I now install games via the Homebrew Channel they say they've successfully installed but then don't show on the Wii U menu as they did before!

Could this have something to do with my previous issue? Could uninistalling and re-installed Haxchi solve the issue (and re-purchasing the DS game for the exploit)?

Cheers :)

Haxchi wouldnt have anything to do with it because you dont even have to run CFW for the games to show up. Try to unplug your hard drive and install to internal and see if it shows up and report back.

Thanks for the reply.

I've tried unplugging the HDD and installing internally (by selecting to install to NAND) and it still doesn't show up.

Could it be that the Nintendo ID I used to purchase the DS game to exploit it has been removed?

Cheers,

Nick

You could'nt even boot Haxchi if the Nintendo ID is removed

That's odd!

the Mii character that had the Nintendo ID linked to it has been removed (not by me) and the only Mii on there has no Nintendo ID. When I try to re-link the Nintendo ID it says it can't as it's already in use on another Wii U

But Haxchi definitely loads

I think once you purchase a game even if you remove the id it should boot. I still say it has zero to do with your problem though. It could be the sd card that holds the Wup files. Do you have another one you could try?

How many games if any do show up or is it none? Are they Wii U games or vc games you're trying to install?

Also look in system settings are thry showing up there?

Are you sure they aren't showing up on a different page? When I install games they don't show up on my main home screen. I have to scroll all the way to the far left page and they are always there instead.

It should be in the link I just gave you. You just install it like a game using WUP Installer GX2 and choose usb. It might not work though since it might not show up like your games but worth a try.

check if you are using the old version of wup installer and try again. if it doesn't work:

1. uninstall haxchi
2. do a factory reset
3. format hdd
4. try again
