What is different about the new user guide edition? Up until now I've been using the regular version with user guide.

Have you been using the regular 1.5.5 release and dropping it in AlAzifs dns host in a new payload folder? Or the ESP version?

Because before now we didn’t have a DNS solution for regular x-project via userguide.

This is vastly better now for 1.5.6, infinitely more stable, and caches way faster, without the 2.x mb limit of an ESP.

I've been using the regular version (i.e. not ESP) extracted to document/gb/ps4 on a local web server, with an entry for manuals.playstation.net added to the hosts file of my router.

Am I right in thinking the user guide version is for people who want to host the dns on a windows pc?
In which case the regular version is probably more appropriate for my use case?

The exploit menu files are identical in both editions so you might as well continue to use the regular version in the way you do.:)

The reason for making the DNS Edition is because there was a large number of people who would not use the faster Browser loading method and insisted on wanting to use the old UsersGuide loading method instead.

The method you use to run the exploit menu in the UsersGuide is very inventive and to be honest I never thought of trying to do it that way.:)
The problem with doing it that way is that not all routers have the option to set a hosts file so for a lot of people it would be either impossible or difficult for them to do.

The DNS server I made is a mod of AlAzif's current DNS server so it s just one click and it's done.
Now there is an option for whatever method you prefer to use to load the exploit menu.

Thx for tutorial! If we change the ps4 fan temperature, is it permanent? I mean, rebooting deletes and back to console default?
The fan temperature you set will stay in the console even after a reboot or a shutdown and startup.

To remove the setting you must physically unplug the PS4 from the power socket.

Sure, my decade old wndr3700 running latest openwrt has been of huge value.

Why it needs physically unplug to default?
Physically unplugging the device must clear the part of the ram that the setting is stored in. Simply shutting down the console does not clear the setting.

Try it out.
Set the temp to 40, The fan will be loud.
Restart the PS4, the fan will still be loud.
Shutdown and unplug the console.
Start the console and the fan will be quiet and back to normal.

One last question I hope:D:
Is there a really permanent way to set fan temperature?

KiiWii you did a good job but it's a shame to have removed "Notyourdopes 127 GTAV payload."

I think it was the best mod GTAV

Otherwise KiiWii it's pretty work, but I will continue on the superb "Host Menu v6.5.2" ESP from Leeful,
because there is "Notyourdopes 127 GTAV payload."

@Joelb Thanks for the kind words.:)

As well as making my own explot menu, I also make X-Project with KiiWii.

In the end it was my descision to remove the NotYourDope 127 GTA menu from the ESP version of X-Project so it was not really @KiiWii's fault.:)
In my exploit menu I managed to fit everything onto the ESP version but X-Project uses much more code than my menu so I had to pick a couple of payloads to remove to make it fit onto the ESP.

I decided to remove 'NotYourDope 127' because it crashes when you try and select any weapon mods and I removed 'Lamance 127' because the back button does not work in the mod menu.
These two mod menus still work apart from the issues I mentioned and they are still available in the other 2 editions of X-Project so if you wanted to try it out they are still in there, just not in the ESP version.:)

I do agree that NotYourDope is a great mod menu but I think the weapon mod crash lets it down.
My favorite GTA V Mod menu to use at the moment is the 'Lotus' Menu and I heard that 0x199 is planning to update it in the near future.:)

thank you Leeful for your response and congratulations for your work, but hoping you leave the mod "Notyourdopes 127 GTAV payload" will still squeeze in your next update "Host Menu v6.5.3" ESP. :)

Ok i fix my error for the name!! :D
