I have been trying to get it to work on SX OS but apparently it isn't compatible with it. I tried to search up for why and if there's anyway to play PSP games on SX OS but wasn't able to go into conclusion. Can anyone explains to me what makes it pretty much exclusive to Atmosphere? and is there a way to emulate PSP on SX OS?

I've tried the Retroarch cores (and yes, retroarch has full RAM access) but whatever game i try to boot has the "An error has occured" message. Anyone?

It works for me and I use SX OS. Did you try overclocking in Retroarch? Also try to turn off the speedhacks in settings. You need to start a game, then go to the Retroarch settings while in game. Go to settings and turn off all speedhacks, then close content. You must close content or it will most likely crash and it won't save the settings you changed. This also applies to overclocking, any settings you change you need to close content and reload the game.

And I know you said you're getting the extra ram but just to make 100% sure you are holding R and starting a nsp or eshop game and loading Retroarch through there NOT album right?

It works fine for me on SX OS, do you have any directories in /retroarch/cores/savefiles/PSP?
I don't think i have this directory, should i make it?

I'm sure! It runs N64 fine, which also needs full RAM access, so i'm pretty sure it's correct in this way.
Will try the tips you've given to me!

It should have been included when you downloaded it though unless you're using a really old version of PPSSPP. It goes in retroarch/cores/system/PPSSPP/

If you dont care about docked(no support for the moment), just use lakka. Ppsspp runs better and u can run it from the sx os payload, then boot lakka directly as autoboot from launch other payload. If you really want to play from horizon(docked), make sure you have the correct directories, assets, and have the latest build, as mentioned above. A few games do require overclocking though, but if your charging the whole time, it wont matter at any rate.
