They might even just make you press a load of joy con buttons to trigger RCM, they can literally do whatever they want.
There is a very remote chance they will leave the fusee gelee exploit unpatched, they are human and we're well known for making dumb mistakes. I really doubt they will though. Not that I care, I already have a switch and won't be buying a switch lite. A switch pro on the other hand might tempt me, depending on what the features are. It will sit in it's box though until it's hackable though.
I said this in a reddit post, but maybe we should exploit the Toy-Con Garage in Nintendo Labo. Hopefully, we can make an entrypoint so that soft-modding is saved. If not, the SX switch flashcart could possibly, maybe, with a tiny glimmer of hope, be used to launch a program that makes it so that you could unplug the SX, plug it into your PC, and use TegraRCMSmash on it.

Man, not gonna lie, I think only the emulation and cellphone custom rom communities can be more annoying, take some time to go to XDA devs and you'll cringe right away with the "VOLTE PLS SIR THX", kek.
I actually have a decent idea. If the switch mini really uses the same tegra chip as the OG switch, couldn't we take a vulnerable tegra chip and solder it to a switch mini?
Obviously this would be cost prohibitive unless you had access to a hot air station, but in theory, I don't see why it wouldn't work...

It means that "your idea" won't inspire an EUREKA! moment on hackers... We don't have access to the device and even then it's going to be a while for them to find a vulnerability... If ever because they have access already on the older models...

The only way you are going to trigger RCM (assuming no other way of accessing) would be to break / join a trace with a switch to the emmc (if it isn`t removable). Something like a push to break switch.
I did it in early days last year on OG switch. Easy enough but margin for error is stupidly high for noobs.
Temporarily cut emmc power - trigger RCM - reapply power. Thats the easy bit.
Finding another way of overflowing the stack and loading unsigned code is the hard bit.

Also another 70TB going in the front mount drive bays of this server. 182tb raw, going to probably use a zfs RAID-Z3 for 3 parity disks, so 140TB usable

I could claw back 14tb by only doing 2 parity disks but I feel like with 13 disks in the RAID I'd be kind of pushing my luck on rebuild time if I encounter a disk failure
