Hacking Switch CFW ReiNX after ExFAT to FAT32 does not but from SD card

Hi,

I got a working Switch with CFW installed and it was working fine. Because of Retroarch and some hints in this forum I copied all files from the SD Card to my Harddrive, formated it to Fat32. But now I can put the Dongle in and after I select EMUNAND the screen stays black. What did I do wrong?

I have a Mac. Maybe this is related?

Ok, I reformated my SD Card back to ExFAT (my switch did that for me). No it is booting but it says that my "switch" folder is empty and I should install homebrew. But the folder is not empty. I copied all files back. What is going on?! Has this something to do with my mac?

Sounds like you need to fix the archive bit on the folders. If your using hekate as your bootloader, you can do it before booting reinx. After copying any files to/from pc or Mac, you’re going to want to do that.

Ok, here is what happend: After migrating from ExFAT to FAT32 my emuMMC was very slow. It took 60 seconds to boot. So it works but it is very slow. When I start SYSNAND everything works on FAT32. Even RetroArch.

So, is emuMMC worth it? Should I got back to ExFAT with emuMMC or should I stay on FAT32 with sysNAND?

I’m not sure on emuMMC stuff as I don’t use it. Just sounds like a waste of sd card space to me. Going online with any hacked console has always been a bad idea so I just don’t go online. I do know there is a few options concerning the emuMMC which trying one of the others may increase your speeds. Maybe someone else can chime in on emuMMC benefits.
