Do you have a problem now or not?
cbhc just doesn't work with USB HDD. After uninstalling cbhc, haxchi is working fine. I tried installing and uninstalling it 3 times. After autoboot there's a message "Please only connect or disconnect USB storage while console is powered off" and then console is rebooting. If I disconnect HDD I'm able to boot normally. Unfortunately after switching the console off and connecting the hdd, it's still showing "Please only connect or disconnect USB storage while console is powered offPlease only connect or disconnect USB storage while console is powered off"

Edit.
After few minutes with unplugged power connector it works now.
Edit2:
Still not quite. After rebooting it's the same.

"Please only connect or disconnect USB" blah blah blah when cbhc is installed and USB drive connected. Any solution? Everything is back to normal without cbhc installed.
once cbhc is instaled you just use your wii like normal, you should isntall cbhc into a nadn ds vc title and then your good no more messing with it.

Which is what I just wrote about 2 times :) The thing is, there's a problem with USB HDD AFTER installing cbhc.

It has nothing to do with it. I know what I'm doing. Please, read my previous posts. It's back to normal after uninstalling cbhc and using haxchi. When I install it again and connect my hdd it's stuck on "Please only connect or disconnect USB storage while console is powered off" loop as long as hdd is connected.

So I just updated my Wii U and Cbhc too, but there is now a little problem. Everytime I close one off my games to play another one Cbhc autoboots again after it's done I see the screen screen which says Wii U Menu and the problem here is that this screen won't go away so I have to restart the whole Wii U everytime i want to switch the game

I just removed CBHX and the icon stays the same and, if clicked, says "Autobooting," but booting the console doesn't show any Autobooting or CBHX interface. Should I reinstall normal Haxchi?

Thanks in advance!

Hi all! is the region unlock functionality of CBHC supposed to work on a Japanese Wii U as-well? I have bought and received one just this weekend and have been trying to get everything set up properly, but unfortunately it seems like I am unable to get any of the US region discs I have to even attempt to load, with the console just showing me the usual error of how you cannot launch out of region titles (Error 157-1104).

I was able to get disc2app to dump one of the games, then install it, and even boot it up, so it seems like the region free patches are not fully working or applied to the disc loading specifically. I am aware that it is hit-or-miss with Wii U titles, but people described their failed loading process as actually being able to get the game to start loading, with the console then getting stuck at a black screen or so. Since mine won't even begin the loading (showing that typical error, as if I was not running a CFW — which I can confirm I am, the version is also listed as 99.99.99 J), I thought the issue might be different, but perhaps I am wrong.

I would be more than happy to provide more information if it helps (is there logging I can enable to share?). I would love it if I am able to play these games without having to dump and install them all, and if it helps, I can be your proxy for access to a Japanese console.

Many thanks in advance!

Edit:
Progress! I edited the sys_prod.xml file by setting game_region to 119, and now the two discs I tried so far show up properly and can be loaded! Somehow without this applied the region unlock functionality of CBHC does not seem to actually do anything, at least on my Japanese Wii U model. Is this as it should behave, or is there still something worth checking out here?

As I said, I uninstalled CBHX correctly, but the icon shape as a triangle that says "Don't touch" is still there and boots Haxchi.

Can I reinstall Haxchi?

You should update the 360 to newest dash before RGHing it yes. But not a big deal if you don't, you can install new dash/avatar updates after. It's just easier to do it auto online before, instead manual offline after.

@BigOnYa I wanted to ask you about your experience with seeing south park. Most of the people a bit younger like my younger brother and cousins that are a few younger than me that saw kids found south park funny because of the curse words, kids at school, that seemed like liking the show on a very basic level.

I could not quite have a in depth discussion of the show.

How was it for you? As an adult. What did you find the most interesting part about it. Did you relate to the parents of the kids and their situations. Was it satires, the commentary on society. The references on celebrities' and pop culture.

I remember seeing the very first episode back in the day, and have watched every episode since. I used to set my VCR to record them even, shows how long ago.

I just like any comedies really, and cartoons have always been a favorite of mine. Family guy, American Dad, Futurama, Cleveland Show, Simpsons - I like them all.

South Park is great cause they always touch on relavent issues going on today, and make something funny out of it.

@BigOnYa were you always up to date on the current events and issues of the time or were there issues that you first found out thru south park
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Most of the time yea I knew, I watch and read the news regularly, but sometimes the Hollywood BS stuff, like concerning actors slip by me. I don't follow most Hollywood BS (example: the Kardasians)

  • S @ salazarcosplay:
@BigOnYa there were relevant issues before south park was made, that's why i think a south park prequel/spinoff would be great. Randy and his friends in their child hood

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, like them running in high school together, getting into stuff, and how they got hitched and had kids. And how the town of South Park was back then compared to now. That would be cool to see.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@salazarcosplay if they made a prequel, it would still be about current issues, cause it doesn't make sense to make it about stuff that happened 30 years ago that nobody cares about anymore
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's too late
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the older south park episodes about particular issues usually age poorly since the topic is no longer relevant

an exception is giant douche vs turd sandwich, that's always relevant :P
