I saw the post and thought "Awesome box shot" then realised I could never post that as a comment here as it could be taken with the wrong meaning......

The developer created a custom video codec, trying to put every PC version video and animation on DS screen.

I saw a site covering this game development. Kotaku, Joystiq or something... Looked to good at time.

tried it earlier -- just the intro and first couple of minutes of gameplay -- and it certainly starts out very impressively. i'll be playing through this one for sure

Its a decent game but it does feel like its running on the ScumVM emulator. I don't like how you zoom in when you press on the screen for more than a couple of seconds, that could've been done via a button I reckon.

It is good to see a small publisher actually use a big cart so that we can have good quality video.

actually pc version dev. are spanish, but DS version are from france ( http://www.cyanide-studio.com/?rub=node&nid=707 )

Oh, didn't know that. Either way, I hope the Spanish version gets released soon. My sister will love this game, it has a lovely oldschool Monkey Island feel. Besides, it's a "mature" game. The DS needs more of this kind.

PS: I don't know what's up to you guys. "OMG, cam3l tou!!1 lololol", "teh boksarttt ftW!!!", "it suxxxx"... GBATemp is turning into GameFAQs at an incredibly fast pace. I hope the mods start enforcing the rules, all these nonesensical, noobish comments are irritating... And the worse part is, they come from "respectful" members...

As far as I know it's not against the rules to comment on box art, as it's a part of the game. So there's nothing to enforce.

Damn. I, too, wasn't expecting this so soon. Awesome, I love these kind of games, especially on the DS - portable

No, no, commenting on a boxart is obviously not against the rules. But "it suck" or 'lol cameltoe' are not comments...

When replying to a topic, don't; unless you have something meaningful to say or something that will contribute to the discussion. Posts such as "Yes" or "I agree" or "LOL" are useless and are wasteful on the servers. This is not GameFAQ's!

QUOTE(Hadrian @ Nov 24 2007, 03:19 PM)We trash an awful lot of posts, but we can't get to them straight away which is why the "Report" button is there so that certain posts can come to our attention.

Oh, come on, dude, don't make me feel bad. I know you guys do a great job. Your weekly lists are a modern classic

It's my fault, I should have said "enforce the rules harder", but I can't stand seeing how this forum 'slowly' turns into a certain 'message board'. Seriously, there's a line between 'giving an opinion' and 'noob talk'. And many users have been leaning towards the latter recently... a real pity, if you ask me.
Besides, I never liked using the Report button... you can never know (unless it's something blatantly obvious) whether a user is commiting an infraction or not, and that can turn against you if you 'mark' too many 'innocents'... but I shall start using it more often from now on.

And, finally, to make this post somehow relevant, my thoughts on the game: It starts slow, but nice. The cut-scenes have a really good quality and they narrate the story really well. The graphics are pretty close to the PC version's ones, although, as someone said, the 'zoom' function makes you feel dizzy. If you press too much, it zooms and you get 'lost' by the sudden change. Also, and I don't know if this is happening only to me, the touch screen seems to be really decalibrated. When I try to activate the 'hot-spots function' (that shows you which areas of the screen you can explore), I always end up going to the left...
Overall, nice game, nice porting and nice graphics. Too bad it doesn't have full voice acting... seeing everyone move their mouths whitout doing any sound is plain weird

The problem is (and yes, I know this is in itself is off-topic, but it's important)... the problem is that there's a line that can't be crossed. "it suck" may be poorly written, but it's a person's legitimate opinion of the game. They are saying they think it sucks. And "lol cameltoe" would be removed. Unfortunately the actual post "Nice box art. Reverse camel toe FTW." comments on the box art, and thus isn't just spam.

The sort of thing your suggesting can't be done because only part of the post is spammy. And we certainly can't go around editing people's posts to take out the spam, so the options are A) leave it, or B) remove a somewhat legitimate comment, which just wouldn't be right.
