MM-LINX - Super Mario Maker 2 Level Injector

nstall the MM-LINX homebrew application on your switch, to install levels uploaded to https://tinfoil.io/MarioMaker/ directly to your Super Mario Maker 2 Level slots!

Very early release, please be patient and it will get better with time as all of my applications do :) Feel free to post feature requests and bug reports.

This is currently hard coded to use the first user profile. Please ensure that Super Mario Maker 2 is not running, and that you have at least one SMM2 save on the first user's profile.

For maximum compatibility and stability, we recommend that you use ReiNX or SX.

Download: https://github.com/blawar/mmlinx

edit: 1.01 fixed sorting, press + to sort
edit: 1.02 added support for uploading your levels to tinfoil.io from MM-LINX
edit: 1.03 added file browser for installing levels from (sd, ftp, http, gdrive, usb, etc), search, ability to change user, translation (needs work), ability to copy files to and from smm2's save directly, themes, other stuff I probably forgot.
edit: 1.04 saving / loading is now much faster and does not overwrite your save progress; added columns for difficulty, rating, and course id; ability to unlock hammer and super flower on supported cfw's.
edit: 1.05 increased security, mandatory update. Cloud servers will no longer work with previous versions (downloads section will be empty).

Kosmos works fine if you install the ACID patches from here https://gbatemp.net/threads/kosmos-patches-es-fs.542455/. This has been stated multiple times earlier in the thread. The only reason this is required is because tinfoil requires these patches and this uses some of the code of tinfoil.
it doesn't need any patches, when you uninstall kosmos it just deletes the bootloader folder, I tested it myself. It worked fine when i had no bootloader folder, but crashed again after i put it backed

@blawar is it really needed to use ReiNX? With atmosphere the file browser is gone and I really don't want to use another CFW then that one. It's clean and tidy on my SD card. Tried SXOS just to be sure but also that doesn't work.

This makes it so on the next reboot your using fussglee instead of hekate.
Atmos, but it doesn't seem to be a cfw problem. Another guy in this thread commented that he had to go back to version 1.03 to recover the file browser. Problem is that version 1.03 doesn't seem to be available to download.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

1.03 added the file browser and it seems that 1.04 removed it.
I still have it and i'm using kosmos.
I have to amend what I said earlier, I shut down my Switch to put some stuff on the SD card, and when I tried to reboot, it appears that fusee primary and the Atmosphere files were deleted when I had to press Y to "delete Kosmos" that I don't have. Luckily I wasn't on the latest version anyway, so it gave me the push to update. However, I would have been quite upset if I had been out of the house and would not have been able to boot my Switch. This is a major issue that needs to be addressed.

For all of you guys that want to use kosmos this is what I did to make it work on kosmos.
1) Put the newest kosmos on your sd card (even if you have the latest version) https://github.com/AtlasNX/Kosmos/releases.
2) Put the latest kosmos sigpateches onto your sd card https://github.com/Joonie86/hekate/releases/tag/5.0.0J.
3) Load up mmlinx and enjoy!

This makes it so on the next reboot your using fussglee instead of hekate.

The trigger is having sdmc:/bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini on your sd card. I tried using Atmosphere's fusee-primary payload and it still failed unless hekate_ipl.ini was deleted. Even if hekate_ipl.ini was a blank 0 byte file with no other Hekate files on the sd card at all it would trigger then crash even when using fusee-primary to boot Atmosphere.

No luck. I downloaded Kosmos and sigpatches from your link, installed them, and deleted and reinstalled mmlinx just in case some of the configuration archives was the problem.

It loads but there's no "file browser" option. Maybe an internet connection is required for it to appear? It has not much sense, but is the only thing I can think of, since I am totally offline (and that's why I wanted the file browser).

I don't know what else to try.

I opened the "options.json" file that is created after using mmlix for the first time and saw this: "File Browser":{"display":0}

I changed the 0 to 1, but the option is still not there. :(

Downloaded everything from kosmos but still no luck. What am I doing wrong, can't get file browser to show up.

EDIT: Found a copy of 1.03 which works with file browser. But I would be pleased to use the latest version because of all the changes blawar made. Is there somebody who could tell what is wrong here?

Maybe try deleting this file on your sd card sdmc:/bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini. if that dosnt work then try using this reinx spoofer kip https://github.com/StevenMattera/ReiNX-Spoofer/releases/tag/v1.0.0.

After using the spoofer it works. When it thinks it uses ReiNX the application works. This should not be the case right? Or is this in purpose?

It could be on purpose. That would be a question for the @blawar. It is weird that some kosmos's dont display the file browser even with ACID patches. Is your sd card fat32 or exfat? Mine is fat32.

I use FAT32 the latest kosmos with es, fs and acid patches. So it should work as more people have this working. Using the spoofer for now does the job.

Even with atmosphere and the spoofer alone does the job and shows the file browser. It looks like it’s done on purpose. I don’t have an SX OS license so that could be the reason that booting without a license disables the file browser.

But then again why all of this just to force people to use stuff they don’t want? But I could be wrong and this is just bug or some sort.

But I can also tell. Works great using the browser.

That could be why. If this the case then it could be bypassed by creating a file called license.dat on the root of your sd card. I have a sx license file on my sd and just switched to kosmos a few weeks ago. From what I have heard blawar dosnt like the kosmos devs (who are antipiracy) because they refused to add ACID patches which tinfoil uses. He then made it so all of his projects will crash if launched on kosmos without ACID patches even tools like mmlinx which dont really need these patches. Hopefully soon he will remove the kosmos check especially now that the kosmos sigpatches come with ACID patches.
