I havent taken up actually patching games. I usually just derp around in RAM and tinker with what little ASM (basically machine code instructions) I understand.



Newest .3gx format blank plugin (requires custom Luma 9.1 payload to use)

If you need the older .plg format, it's here in the ActionReplay.7z attachment.

I've also 'taken over' JourneyOver's repository of Gateshark and CTRPFAR codes on my fork, as he stopped maintaining it in favor of Sharkive and jsut IRL in general. I've been adding a number of my own codes, too - though they're usually for the latest update on games that have them. The only codes I've seen that won't work there are some of ymyn's 'gateshark only' codes that were part of the original Fort42 dump. Regardless, if there's other codes you might want (like Instant Messages), they should be in there.
The .3gx plugin works with bootNTR Selector right? do you know if you can have multiple plugins for a certain game on the SD card at one time, or will I have to manually switch between the two?

do I drop the .3gx file in the plugin folder like the framework or does it need a different filepath to work?

no. Selector is .PLG only and needs the exact title ID to run them. The 3gx format needs the custom 9.1 payload (has a built in loader and can use one default .3gx plugin - usually the blank one for AR codes - and another .3gx for specific games, letting you run two plugins when needed, but it cant read .plg format plugins. It also overrides the selector if the built in loader is still active at game launch, so you cant run .plg and .3gx at the same time).

The benefits of the .3gx blank plugin and the custom 9.1 payload are that you can switch games without needing a reboot so long as you didn't use an exclusive plugin and that you only need one copy of the blank plugin ot run AR codes in any game - as opposed to needing a copy for every game if using the Selector.

Just keep in mind the .3gx blank plugin has a few minor bugs with the Hex Editor and Search functions (nothing big. The Hex Editor just doesn't live update unless you scroll and Searches can't be canceled mid-search/very rarely CTDs when it forgets a parameter from a previous launch's search. Nothing the average user will run into often), but so long as you're just using existing codes you shouldn't have any issues. I'm told the bugs have been fixed in the latest version, but I haven't heard form Nanquitas (the framework creator) in a while and there hasn't been a public update release since the one I linked.

So if I just load up USUM without running Selector, I get the blank plugin, and when I run Selector, I get the SuMoFramework?

you'll get the blank plugin regardless is the plugin loader built into the custom Luma paylod is still active - as it ALWAYS launches itself when active and overrides the selector. If you turn it off (L+D-Down+Select to open Rosalina Menu, then deactivate the loader - which is only an option on the custom payload seeing as the plugin loader isn't in default Luma payloads) you can get the SuMoframework with the selector

To use the .plg format blank plugin, you'd have to remove the SuMoframework plugin - as you'd need to use the same folder and only one of the plugins would launch.

I understand how it all works now and I have no outlines code working great. my only question is if the cheats can be entered on a PC because it's going to take ages to port over 30+ lines of code 4+ times

there should be a new text file on your SD named with the game's title ID under a folder called 'Cheats'. Move that to your PC, edit it, then overwrite the copy on your SD. The plugin will read it automatically.

Hey I have a problem when I'm trying to trade a pokemon that I got from the spawner but it's not working it says there is a problem with your pokemon

The spawner can and will make illegal pokemon if the pokemon does not match BOTH the species and level of pokemon normally found in the area. If either is abnormal, the pokemon will be detected as illegal and you will not be able to trade it.

Examples:

Spawn a level 2 Pikachu on Route 1: Legal - Pikachu can be caught legitimately at level 2 or 3 on Route 1
Spawn a level 12 Pikachu on Route 1: Illegal - Pikachu can ONLY be caught at level 2 or 3 on Route 1
Spawn a level 2 Charizard on Route 1: Illegal - Charizard cannot be caught on Route 1 at all.

So I can see this project is well beyond it's end of support/life.

For the adjustable shiny chance, I see that it's in percentages. Is there no way to have that as a ratio like it is in the ORAS one?

Example:

Current: Enter a percentage between 0.02-100%

What I'm looking for:
1:1 1:5 1:10 1:50 1:100 etc.

Or would anyone know what percentage I'd need to enter for 1/100 odds?

Since this project seems to have its support completely dropped (and the OP ignores notifications from this thread), is there an alternative tool that gives the same functionality as this tool?

The spawner can and will make illegal pokemon if the pokemon does not match BOTH the species and level of pokemon normally found in the area. If either is abnormal, the pokemon will be detected as illegal and you will not be able to trade it.

Thanks for the info and I have 1 more issue when I got BP and got a mega stone and keep in mind I have the key stone and when I'm in a battle I cant use the mega ability any help

theres a specific event that needs to occur after you beat the E4 and complete Episode RR. Once you complete both, go to the Poni Wilds where Dexio and Sina will battle you one last time. Win and you get an Alkazite and keystone. Behind the scenes, the event triggers a hidden value that then allows mega evolution.

easily triggerable via pkhex though a pain to extract your save just to get mega evolution

instead of spawning it in, use a save editor to add the wondercard, then pick it up in-game. This will let it be traded in direct trades. Event pokemon cannot be traded on the GTS period (they either are hacked or they have a ribbon that prevents being traded on the GTS. Removing the ribbon qualifies them as hacked)

If you can use NTR, you can use JKSM/Checkpoint to extract your save easy enough. Its really not hard.

Sadly I dont have a computer to do the save editor method but back with the mega evolution question I've done that battle and still I dont see the mega evolution option

So if I want shiny mewtwo I go to the green aura double ring wormhole and on the spawner in I'd i put 150 and on on the level I put 60 right and shiny chance 100 it should be legal right?
