Spike Chunsoft announces four new upcoming localizations at Anime Expo 2019

Anime Expo is a yearly event that usually sees the announcement of many localizations for different JRPGs and visual novels. The first company to take to the stage at AE2019 was Spike Chunsoft, who teased three new games for western fans. An enhanced version of the 5pb visual novel, Robotics;Notes Elite will be headed west, for Nintendo Switch, Steam, and PlayStation 4, sometime next year, while the sequel, Robotics;Notes DaSH, will also release in 2020, presumably in the second half of the year. A definitive version of the first Conception game, initially released on the PSP in Japan, will also make its way west as Conception Plus: Maidens of the Twelve Stars. Lastly, we got confirmation of a translation for Crystar, an action-RPG being developed by Gemdrops, who previously helped create Lost Sphear and I Am Setsuna. This game will be launching on August 27th, for Steam and PlayStation 4. Following a trend of censoring certain imagery in video games, Spike Chunsoft confirmed that they had to censor a half-second clip of the main character's backside for the PS4 release, while the Steam version will still have this incredibly minor detail.

or you know, a mystery dungeon game that isnt for babies.
I can tell by this that you've only either played early-game on the ones up to EoS or played SMD, as late-game on the earlier ones is almost impossible without farming items to max out ALL stats to 255 and getting some REALLY good held items, since there are end-game missions where you have to bring with you some weak-ass lv15 Pokemon for a good 60-70 floors in VERY high-level dungeons with tons of wild Pokemon that spam room-wide moves (eg: Earth Power) making guarding the Pokemon you are escorting impossible, then there are dungeons that are straight up impossible without maxed stats like some 100 floor ones with lv80+ wild mons or other dungeons completely reset your level/stats/bag/money so you can't do shit in them and have to survive 75 floors or more:P

CRYSTAR looks horrible. They need to stick to cell-shading like Ni no Kuni, or move to good 3D animation like FF15 or FF7 Remake.

I loved the first one. The rest was... meh.

You did not like Darkness/Time/Sky?
Those were pretty awesome.
Agree about the rest though, Gates was lacking in content, and so was Super, despite returning all Pokemon (barely any post game content and removal of the bulletin board). Both were also made way too easier, especially with Supers terrible recruiting system that gave you free strong final evolutions for no effort (and completely destroying the point of evolving and training your Pokemon...).

Funny that the games went downhill after the merge of Spike with Chunsoft.

I think the first one had the better story. It was also easy as hell to rank up and Level Grind yet you did need that for some parts of the game. More so if you just reset the game when losing instead of using the "Be rescued by another team" option.
