I was doing that.. I tried it on another computer and I can't even grab the latest version from there either. I happened to fix it however so thanks for the help.
Can you map R2/L2 and R3/L3 to the rear touchpad? I want to use my dualshock 3 controller with PS3 remote play and I think using the actual controller will be easier to use than the vita's rear touch pad

Any idea if this should work in PS3 remote play?
I copied the .suprx file to my ur0:tai folder, activated the plugin in the config.txt, reloaded it/restarted the Vita, but then if I remote play anything from my PS3 (like Killzone 3)... neither L2R2 nor L3R3 seem to work.
I tried configuring the Vita with the 3 types of buttons assignment and it didn't work in either. I'm using Enso 3.60
Has anyone else tried and managed to have it working?
or is there any other way/app to have L2R2 and L3R3 working on PS3 remote play?

My ps3 fake controller only works when directly plugged in with the mini USB cord with my PS Vita TV; I don't believe that the PS Vita 1000 or 2000 has enough power to drive a USB power device, though I may be wrong. I haven't used it for sometime, but I believe the controller works with and without the ds3 Vita plugin, but like I said it always needs to be plugged in and the four red LED lights are flashing all the time. Only really beneficial for multiplayer, or if I want a wired controller experience with the ds3>? :/
I'm really just saying I have better options for single player and even a few multiplayer options before the fake controller would come into play. On a side note and interestingly enough, wired ps2 ps1 and Xbox 360 controllers can be used with an adapter, I even have a controller that is a wireless ps2 that works on PS Vita TV and ps3 with this ps2 to usb adapter Natively. the has a home button so closing an app on PS Vita TV and getting back to the XMB on the ps3 is more of a breeze .

Programming the controller, it could with the right driver (that would need administration rights to install...) coupled with an appropriate program, but I'm not sure any exists
Why not simply get a spare HDD with your own operating system on it, if for whatever reason you can't get full privileges on the one you normally use?

I'm having problems pairing the DS3. Tried it with 2 different DS3s. The Vita MAC is: EC:0E:C4:C3:45:B0 -> so it set my DS3 to EC:0E:C4:C3:45:B1.

Edit: it all works now with all my DS3s and my normal sixaxis controller. What I didn't do was activating Bluetooth at first, this was the problem. Would be helpful if this were in the tutorial.
