Ok, i have a HDD with WBFS format and everything work. But i download Super mario galaxy NTSC-K and when i try to add the wbfs on WBM i got an error like "Invalid Wii disk" But the game work because i tried in my Emulator and nothing crashed. There is a way to transfert without using WBM ?

1. Something that works in an emulator doesn't mean it is a valid image nor will it work in real hardware. Stop using emulator as a way to validate game images.
2. You can format the HDD to Fat32 and copy the game manually (with proper file structure) or
3. copy the iso to the Wii's SD card and use a loader that supports SD loading to see if it works
4. Your profile shows you are from France, why would you run an NTSC-K game ??

Last time i tried to format to fat32 my USBLoaderGX won't found it. . but why not try again ( do i have to use a program for formating my HDD ? )
I wanned to play the Korean Version because i have try to get every version of each game i like ( and for speedrun, the korean is fast ).
I waiting your response before formating.

Edit: There is a way to pass the image verification on WBM ? I don't have enough space in my PC for backup my games...

Wii Backup Manager probably doesn't support discs encrypted using the Korean key.

USB Loader GX should support FAT32, NTFS, and EXT4 for Wii games. (I don't remember if it supports GPT, so make sure the drive is partitioned using MBR.) Then put the disc images in the /wbfs/ directory.

I am not sure about this one, I have never played any Korean games, anyone can confirm?

You can convert the HDD on the fly :https://gbatemp.net/threads/wbfs2fat-py.291320/
of course, a backup is always a good idea as nothing is 100% safe.

If your HDD really has problems in FAT32 with usbloadergx, your softmod might be outdated. Post a syscheck and see.

As a last resort, you can use WIT to manage you WBFS partition - good luck with command line tools... There are some front ends out there for WIT, but I have never messed with those.

WBFS partition can only be used with Wii games, Fat32 can be used with most homebrew, Wii games, gamecube games and most emulators. The benefit is obvious.

So, my HDD is in Fat32 now and everything work, but i tried to put New Super Mario Bros. Wii NTSC-K ( Who have the same issue than SMG ) So i make a folder and place the .wbfs insde. but when i go on USBLoaderGX it not appear :/

Korean ISOs are very difficult to find. Have you found that ISO from a reliable source?? I think your ISO is just a custom image, patched somehow be someone...

I don't know if korean games are compatible with Wii Backup Manager. so either it's not, or your ISO is bad.

like said above, you can use other tool to put the ISO on WBFS with Wit/Wwt and a GUI (wiBackupFusion for example is multiplateform), or convert your WBFS to FAT32.

If USBLoaderGX doesn't find any partition other than WBFS, it's often because users want to use Flashdrives instead of real HDD.
if you have a real HDD, be sure to set IOS to 58 in the settings.

GPT is compatible, but had a bug if using more than one partition, and these partition were formatted in different format (FAT32+NTFS for example used to crash, but 2x FAT32 worked fine).
I fixed a bug 2 releases ago, but I couldn't test it. a user told me it worked now, so I hope it's fixed for real :)

one last thing, if you want to copy the game manually on your HDD, be sure to use a compatible layout (path, folder and filename) :

Maybe one Reason why Wii Backup Manager struggles:

The reason this Wii game might be smaller in size than the original ISO file is the result of super-compression only. I have not taken out anything but empty data, and if converted back to ISO this game will certainly be full-size, either 4.3 GB or 8.5 GB.

converting a WBFS to ISO certainly makes it back "full size", and has nothing to do with compression. that's how wbfs (and wii game disc's actual data) works.
if you have the full ISO, you can use wit/wwt, or if your Wii accept DVDR you can even burn it and use USBGX to dump it to wbfs. (but who burn disc nowadays? waste of time and resources. that'll just be a funny alternative way to do it)
I'm not even sure if the dump process is dependent to the region/key in USBGX, I think korean key is used to play, but I don't know if it's also used to dump.

UsbLoaderGX work fine with korean games ( i play Wii Sport resort, mkwii, Wii play etc. . )
So if i understand correctly my "New Super Mario Bros.Wii" and "Super Mario Galaxy" Are bad dump ? ( all files is on .wbfs format btw )
it make me remember when i tried to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl in Korean version, i downloaded 3 different file and no one worked on my Wii ( not even detected by USBLoaderGX )

Since you have a few korean games, you can try WiiBackupManager to see if it can handle korean games correctly.
If it does, then your non working games do have a very high chance to be bad images.
Note that if your Super Smash Bros. Brawl image is an iso, then WiiBackupManager won't be able to convert it to .wbfs correctly, you will have to use WIT.

Please report if WiiBackupManager works with korean games or not.

I install my korean games with wii backup manager. So yes i think it's my game image.

WBFS Manager? That's another one that works with ISO. Try loading the New Super Mario Bros Wii and the Super Mario Galaxy ISO onto the WBFS formatted HDD or Flash drive and see if you can play them with USB Loader GX. If it doesn't show your ISO is corrupted, or bad in some way.

Hope that helped?

WBFS manager is bad. please don't use it. at least, don't use it to delete games! (deleting game has a bug which corrupt other games. adding is working fine)
use other tools which can manage wbfs partition if you still use that format. he said WiiBackupManager could install korean games, so the problem is most probably his ISO.

Yeah I know about the removing games thing. I should have mentioned that. Another program like Wii Backup Manager can remove games off the drive just fine. WBFS Manager is just another program to test with, more like a "Last-Resort" kinda plan. Thanks Cyan!
