OK, so I have a Hackable (NON-Patched) Switch System. I looked at the Serial, and it comes up as not Patched.
It has 7.0.0 Firmware.
Expecting a Jig Tomorrow.

What is the best Method?
Which Method allows for Homebrew and Atmosphere?
Should I Update to 8.1.0 ?
Do I need everything Signed in/Account Setup on the Device?
Will I need at least 1 Game/App Installed?

I recommend you read the FAQ/Guides first.

There is no "best method" per say. It's more of a matter of what CFW to pick as the process is more often than not quite streamlined.
With that said: do NOT update yet. You don't want to be burning fuses for free. First thing you should be doing is a NAND backup.
You don't need to sign in nor have a game/app installed.

Edit: Another thing worth noting is that people claim Nintendo can ban you from just booting on a CFW while on sysNAND. So again, BACKUP before anything.
Also only ever update through ChoiDujour, which is a program that allow you to do so without burning fuses, so you can downgrade/restore your NAND afterwards. And of course, only do so after checking if your CFW of choice is compatible with the firmware version.

So just take a Wire, Secure it to the Screw on the Right Side, then make sure it is contact with the far Right (10) Pin, then hold Vol+and Power to Boot into RCM? If so, damn. Much better method.

Well, I have not done anything yet. I got everything on the MicroSD, so everything is ready to go. Now:
When I get the Pin-10 Grounded, I press Vol+ and Power, I connect with the USB Cable, it shows it is Connected and ready to get Exploited, I can then remove the Grounding, or does it have to stay in place through the whole Process?

After injecting Hekate Payload:
1. dump your nand and your keys. This will take 1.5hr to finish. Then reboot to RCM
2. inject LockpickRCM payload to dump some master keys to your SD card.
3. Inject hekate again and enable AutoRCM.
4. You can remove your jig at this point.

That's how I did it.

Backing up eMMC RAW GPP right now. Took a couple tries to get it, but I am getting the hang of it. Need to get my Magnifier.......if I can find it.

I take it, for Atmosphere, in order to run RetroArch, or any other Homebrew, I need to have a App already Installed, or a Game Card in place, correct?

Either install the .NSP (using an installer, of course) or put the .NRO file in your SD, then it will show up on the Homebrew Menu

Not sure why, but I know I have RetroArch and a couple other NRO Files in place. Nothing is on the App Listing Area. Made sure I was in Atmosphere, because in Settings/System, it showed Firmware 7.0.1 (AMS 0.9.1)

Ugh, sorry I can't really help you there since I don't use Atmosphere.
Just to make sure, you have them on your SD and is trying to open the HB Launcher through the album?
Have you tried installing any NSPs?

Tried Opening the Album. Only thing in there is a Screen Capture I made earlier of the Device Serial Number. Have not tried Installing any NSPs yet. Currently Backing up things, just in case.

Edit: @Cerulis - Went to SDSetup for getting all the Homebrew and whatnot. Extracted to the Root of the MicroSD, as it stated.

Edit II : Nevermind. Found it. Forgot to hold R when Selecting Album

Got it. Much easier now. The Jigs (2 of them) I ordered from, EBay dont work for S### !!!!!!!! So thankfully, the Steps you made work.
However, there are apparently certain Games/Apps that require a Account Linked on your System prior to running. Is there a way to bypass this? Game in Question - Toy Stunt Bike

The game needs to be patched to work around the nintendo account bullshit, so try looking for another one.
You can link a fake account too, but not sure if it can be done without connecting to the internet. I saw someone saying they faked the account link itself, but I'm not sure how. Hopefully someone else can clarify it here.

So, did the .nros show up in album?
