i updated to 8.1.0 by accident, got a blank screen, i updated the version of atmosphere from 0.8.9 to 0.9.1 now it boots but i think its still in stock, it says all the games are broken/corrupt and i cant access the HBmenu.. am i missing something?

is the fw located on the nand? can i roll back to the 4.2 nand backup i made and then update back to 8.0.1?
(only 5 fuses are burnt)
sorry for so many questions at once
Yes you can downgrade if you have the backups

Does this mean you can't boot to stock firmware on the most recent version of atmosphere?

i personally could not get my switch to access HB menu after i had upgraded accidentally to 8.1.0, i tried updating the atmosphere folder using the version 0.9.1 of atmosphere supplied on the github , and on sd files, neither would work (would see the splash screens but profile icon button to access HB menu did not work), even a fresh wipe to the sd card yielded the same result

So i rolled my switch back to the 4.1 nand image i had for it, still no dice (but atleast back to 4.1) and thankfully no burnt fuses

Looked up the payload injector i had, used Their files for atmosphere on a freshly wiped sd and was back up and running

Will update back to 8.0.1 tomorrow (was working fine)

Anyone know if i can use the USER partition backup i made on the 8.1.0 nand image can be written over the USER partition of a 8.0.1 nand?? (will be the current install)

My reason for this is i want to grab my save files and the games that were installed on the user partition nand before the roll back

I am having the same problem
First, don't revive a dead thread. Second, do the following:
  1. Make a NAND backup with Hekate if you haven't already. Store it somewhere safe.
  2. Make sure your SD is formatted as FAT32
  3. Remove all CFW files/folders from your SD card (that would be folders like /sept/ and /atmosphere/)
  4. Download the latest Atmosphere from github
  5. Download the latest fusee-primary (next to Atmosphere)
  6. Download these signature patches
  7. Put Atmosphere and the signature patches onto your SD card
  8. Put the SD into your Switch
  9. Launch Atmosphere using fusee-primary
