I have my switch hooked up to my pi-hole on my network and I've noticed some odd behavior coming from the switch.

It appears every second the switch is connected to my network, it makes about 5 DNS query requests for Nintendo's connection test address.

When I saw this

To say I was alarmed would be an understatement, as I only hooked my switch up to my pi-hole last month and since it's been hooked up, it's made about 2,096,717 dns requests

I have a strong feeling this probably isn't normal behavior and I'm wondering what would be causing it?

This can probably be closed now as I just read the following

This step is pretty self-explanatory, but I'm including it for the sake of being thorough. Your console periodically connects to "ctest.cdn.nintendo.net", and checks the response for a special header -- "X-Organization: Nintendo". If that header is present, your console concludes it has access to the internet. Otherwise, it decides it doesn't -- it's really straightforward.
