You don't have to select "cfw" but "payloads" and then "fusee-primary.bin"

But wait for what is the question if I load hekate or inject the bin from tegrarcm of the new atmosphere that works with 8.1.0 the result is the exact same for me I get the atmosphere boot screens then the screen goes black and nothing happens after that. I have had this same result before and after the restore of my nand and I can't boot stock same thing happens. i can ONLY boot hetake or briccmii nothing else.
It's a strange problem and i have no more ideas to help you, i think is a fw problem, but i'm not sure

clean out your sd card only keeping the nintendo folder then copy all fresh dloads and the espatches do not use hekate use fusee primary..... if your conscrened about your homebrew "switch" folder copy that to your pc first then copy the nintendo folder as it is where your games for the switch are then format your sd card as exfat copy the nintendo folder back to it thenunzip thew latest atmo and then copy your switch folder to it go over each file thats a duplicate and make sure you only copy what you need copy over latest espatches file then make sure to use latest fusee primary..... i have had atmosphere loading problems ion the past too this was how i would fix them..... do not try to load reinx as it overwrites the sept folder made for atmos if the sept folder is not right it will fail eventualy at load

u can fix ur switch , mine didnt even boot the logo of nintendo , it was cold dark screen, i didnt even ve my nindback up , i thought my switch is gone forever, i could only boot rcm and hekate , but i fixed it , everything working fine now , u can try a manual downgrade guide like i did , it fixed my bricked switch , but its a hard and long guide

I tried loading atmosphere from a freshly formatted sd card with only the files from the atmosphere githup I have never dealt with espatches in the past when it was working so I am not sure what you are talking about and all there is in the githup is the main zip and the fusee primary.bin and source code that i have not dealt with.

if his nand backup failed to boot a downgrade wont help i believe its a corrupted atmo and sept problem i could be wrong tho.... even if he downgrades and his sept folder atmos buld is bad it wont finish the bootchain

If you mean the files that worked when I was on 6.2 before anything changed including the choji update to 8.0.1 I have an exact backup of that sd card.

Yes that's good, but what are the files that you have now on the sd?
Surely is that
Freshly formatted with only the contents of the zip from the atmosphere 9.1 zip and the fusee primary.bin where hetake wants it to be
I have its all the same result I get the 3 atmosphere boot screens the one that says sept the one that just says atmosphere then the one thats just an icon then black screen.
