Hello everyone, before starting i just wan't to say i don't have a really good understanding on how a hacked 3ds works as i got mine hacked by following a youtube tutorial.

My story started when i bought a new 3ds xl. i was so excited even though i already have a hacked 2ds.
When i went home, i just realized i don't know how to move my files from the hacked 2ds to my new 3ds xl. the only clue i have is that i need to hack my new 3ds xl first before i move my files.
In the middle of hacking my new 3ds xl, i needed a dsi game to continue to the next part. i thought i could use my nintendo network id by formatting my 2ds and backing up ONLY the content of the sd card. how wrong i was.
In the end, i got my new 3ds xl hacked, but now i only have the content of my 2ds's sd card but i can't use it for the new 3ds xl for some reason.
If it is possible, i just wan't to have my save files back. can someone help me?

PS. i do have an sysnand backup but it was made when there was no game in the system.

Thanks for the reply! i'm gonna do the steps on the first link.
That would be unwise. Read all those threads before doing anything. Figure out what's causing the games not to appear.
  • Mismatch encryption between the movable.sed's KeyY and <ID0> subfolder?
  • Missing tickets?
  • Damaged database?

If you have your sysNAND backup, restore it then restore tickets. You can do this by looking at the second link by TurdPooCharger.

To move your games, after you recover your games, do a normal system transfer and recover the tickets - that's the first link from TurdPooCharger.

Sorry for the arbitrary decision, after reading all of them i think i have the same case as the guy from the second link. just like Quantumcat said.
When i use the sd card backup data on the already formatted 2ds, there were no games but when i look it up in software management i could see the games with x on them

Missing tickets, use faketik.

If you System Transferred the NNID from the n2DSXL over to the n3DSXL, check if the n3DSXL recognizes those in Data Management.

However, you can't continue using your n2DSXL as-is with that restored SysNAND. Nintendo will notice something amiss when both n3DSXL and n2DSXL are trying to access online services with same NNID and movable.sed with exact KeyY. You must keep the n2DSXL offline and eventually Format System Memory it again once your titles, saves, and extdata are recovered.

After using faketik, all of the games and the save files are working. the 2ds looks like it has never been formatted before.
I feel like i was in sorrow for nothing. Now i can continue my Majora's mask 3D and Bravely default!
also i will keep that accessing online services in mind, Thanks for all the help :)

Before you do anything else, install JKSM, backup your saves, and copy the resulting JKSM folder to your computer, preferably to some cloud storage and/or a hard drive. If you don't end up system transferring to the other console you can install the same games are restore the saves to keep playing there. And if your SD card fails, or your console dies, or you format and lose your NAND backup your saves are still safe.
