Atmosphère 0.9.1 released, adds 8.1.0 support

atmosphere-png.162000

A quick update has been released for @SciresM 's Switch CFW, Atmosphère, bumping the version up to 0.9.1. Support for the latest available OFW (8.1.0) has been added and a few emuMMC-related bugs have been fixed. This, however, is not the general bugfix release the devs were talking about previously, so emuMMC should still be considered experimental for the time being.

The official changelog can be read below:
Changelog said:
0.9.1 is Atmosphère's nineteenth official release.

fusee-primary was last updated in: 0.9.1.

With thanks to the @switchbrew team, Atmosphère 0.9.1 is bundled with hbl 2.1, and hbmenu 3.0.1.

The following was changed since the last release:

  • Support was added for 8.1.0.
  • Please note, emummc is still considered beta/experimental -- this is not the inevitable bugfix update for it, although some number of bugs have been fixed. :)
  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience.
For information on the featureset supported by 0.9.0, please see the official release notes.

On a last note, fusee-primary has also been changed with this version. Remember to update it too if you're using it!

UPDATE: If you were not being able to boot with this release, re-download it from the repo. A bug has been fixed which caused the system to hang if there was no emummc.ini file present on the microSD card.

That TX fame did not last long.
I'd argue they didn't even have any fame to begin with.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

The source code for 8.1.0 was available on Atmosphere's GitHub hours before SX OS 2.8 beta dropped. So Atmosphere had 8.1.0 support first (if you knew how to compile).

I wasn't causing drama? Just pointing out the facts.
It's not just here. It's not just on that other thread. I've lurked here prior to joining, and it's clear you've got an insane bias and try and start arguments and start fights with SX users. Literally almost every single post of yours. c'mon guy. Just let people enjoy what the fuck they want.

I mean. I've used the CfW myself. Didn't really enjoy it due to the frequent crashes. I don't tell people to move to Atmosphere because I dislike SX OS. I'd argue that the majority of my posts aren't related to SX OS. But you do you I guess.

Can someone help me with setting up emummc without formating data on that current patition? My Nintendo folder is over 80gbs and I don't have the space to store it before formating my SD card

It's honestly clear that you do, since all you do is bash SX. And what crashes? There must be an issue with your switch, OR you're just fucking lying, because that's very different from the experience of others, and myself. I've been using it since launch, as have some of my pals. None experienced the "constant crashing" like you've described... please stop trying to justify your bias with lies. It's REALLY obnoxious.

No. I am not lying. I have personally had a rough experience with SX OS. I've used it up to 2.0 and it frequently crashed for me. It's not all bad. XCIs were cool I guess and the auto updater was also a nice touch. It's cool that you and other people have had a good experience. I haven't. Moved to Atmosphere and it doesn't crash as much. If you don't want to take my word for it then that's fine. Just hit the ignore button on my profile and we can be done here.

I appreciate the kind response. And I also appreciate the consideration and the understanding. Thank you for that maturity. It's rare to find these days:)

You can be a dick and make thar assumption, not like sx have their own means to dump keys.

This is really pathetic now, you want to be a dirty cheap scunt and go gor free cfw then good for you.

Dont be so petty and pathetic to slate the team tuat actually brought you the very first exploit.

You all only bitch because it was a paid for product, and yes they bring better features than free cfw.

First, he just said the truth with respect, why do you disrespect him for it?

You should be documented better, the exploit are discovered by Kate, member of ReSwitched, team related with atmosphére, so... no, TX didn't bring nothing new.

Define "better features", the only differences are that atmosphére isn't designed for piracy, and today the only tools that TX offer and atmosphére not are all related with it...

Some questions: Do know that SX OS do on your device? You can see their code? You can run kip patches? You are free to modify the OS?

These questions are important for me, can afford the price of the license without problems, but I preffer have the control of my device and don't see my personal certificate sold on third party sites for example.

And to end, let me explain to you one thing, it's easy bring more features when you just should pull the code from another repository for the CFW, anyways, atmosphére NEVER gona support piracy things, so if you consider piracy a "better feature" then yes, SX OS gona be "better" forever, on my case, I consider better another things that atmosphére can bring and SX OS not.

Tegra stays the same right?

It's my first update I experience so I don't know if it's just atmos + fusee replacing or if I have to get a new Tegra version as well

The tegra RCM it's rarelly updated, you just should replace the files on your SD card with the new on the release download (fusee-primary.bin, atmosphere, sept and switch folders and the hbmenu.nro)
