I've been training amiibos the old fashioned way for months, and I have no interest in using this program to cheat, but I would like to know more about how Smash Ultimate uses amiibo for its AI. My current theory is that personalities are based on relative measurements of various factors, and that "Level" is a fake measure of development, that just affects its reactiveness, and that exists to give the illusion of advancement over a figure's first couple dozen fights, to mask the actual adjustments done to the amiibo's variables.
I'm still wondering though. How does a figure player decide which moves to use? Is there long-term learning at work, or only short term? I've noticed, on Kongo Falls, that amiibos like to self destruct a lot when trying to save in the bottom right corner of the stage, but after a number of games seem to get better at it, although they do still mess up sometimes? Am I imagining this, or is there actual learning going on there? If there is, how is it fit into the pitiful storage capacity of an amiibo?
These are rhetorical questions, I don't expect you guys to answer them, but I hope some of you are curious about them too.
