Hacking Pokemon X game not randomized?

So I've decided to randomize Pokemon X and I had followed this guide here: , to install CFW and then this guide: , to actually randomize the game, and for whatever reason the game isn't randomized. I also "enabled game patching" in the luma configuration screen and the game still isn't randomized. I'm not at all sure what the problem is, as I followed the directions of both guides. Any ideas on what could be wrong? I have a New 2ds XL and an 8GB micro SD card, and my version of firmware is 11.10.43.

Also apologies in advance as i'm learning as I go so i'm no expert on any of this stuff.

First things first...never follow videoguides. They are relatively quick outdated.

Yeah because you need specific files to randomize the game. Enabling the option is not enough dude.

Well I was wondering if that video was missing something. I'm not sure what files I need and I'm honestly starting to give up, although I found a worded guide by Zeta's 3ds hacking site. I got stumped on it earlier but maybe I'll give it another go..

Look in the description from the randomizer video. There is a link for the files.

You mean the "3DS Randomizer Pack"? I mean obviously but just double checking.

I did download those files and followed the video, and it still didn't randomize. I'll try the process again in a bit.

Just curious, do I do anything else with the "3DS Randomizer Pack" files once I'm finished with pk3DS? Do I have to move them anywhere or am I good to continue the randomization?
