@Gericom is there a 64 game limit? I have more than 64 roms in the GBA folder but only 64 show up in the game selection menu. There does not appear to be any pattern to the games it misses out. The games are still displayed alphabetically bu5 some are missing for the letter B then some for D and so on and so on.

Yeah, currently there's a 64 game+folder limit per folder. I think I can expand it to 256 or so later, depending on the amount of memory I can use for the name list.

Would it be possible to use multiple folders? Say one for every alpha numeric character and keep the 64 file limit per folder?

@Dodain47 Do you think we should add a column to the wiki for if saving works? Maybe that's better than in the description. Maybe we could add more columns for common things like "cache supported". I'd also like a column for non-working reason. As there are common reasons for games not working, and I'd like to put it there when I research a game. (I need to gain access to the wiki again though. I don't remember how that was done again)

I approve this, the compatibility list is a mess in orden of support

Hmm... Someone more experienced with wiki editing could make some adjustments. I mostly do copy and paste.
You have to send a pm to one of the staff members responsible for wikitemp. They create and account for you.

I think tj_cool is the one you should ask.

I still can't run doom, no matter wich rom I use (E) or (U), I get a white screen after GBA boot logo.

Even if this video shows it can run (but with audio glitches) I cant get it to.

Besides that, Kirby's nightmare in dreamland, Kawa's Jukebox (Homebrew), Spyro - The eternal night and Donkey Kong country 2 runs great using cache version, some of them weren't saving but now they're.
Last but not least, I have two questions... First, do you plan to add the missing sound channels? And Second, will you be able to Add Icons to the games?
Thanks for this great homebrew you are doing!

I have a very old version of gbarunner2. saves ripped from cartridges seem to work. however, it does have a few audio problems. I tried one of the newer builds recently. it doesn't have this problem, but no saves are detected. is the newer build compatible or is there something special that I must do with the rom and/or saves for old saves to be detected?

Maybe a special header or different format?

I'm not sure. I tried a few different games. I ripped all saves from actual cartridges. the saves work with the old gbarunner2, emulators, the supercard dstwo gba emulator, and gba injects on the 3ds.

The next build will add the missing 8-bit (GB) sound channels (I think).
Yeah, although only channel 1 and 2 (pulse) for now.

Also will be a fix for Sonic Advance? (I know that game checks for the link cable if the port exist)
The problem will likely be fixed when I continue working on the wifi linking.

You should be able to use your old saves. The format is raw, no headers or anything. Nothing changed there.

the roms and saves are in the same folder (GBA) on my flash cart (micro sd-1) along with the bios. is that where the games and saves should go with the new version? I'm having some difficulty getting things to work with the supercard dstwo. I also can't get the new forwarders to work. for that, I looked in the dstwo.nds, and it's calling two files, "settings.ini" in the twloader folder and "dstwoautoboot.ini" in the _nds folder of the 3ds' micro sd card. neither file is in the supercard dstwo's .7z file in the forwarder's thread. the settings.ini is created when I install twl loader++, but the folder has a space in it iirc. I'm assuming that both the forwarders and gbarunner2 now rely on twl loader++?

Alright now I'm having even more problems with the latest version. All games hang on a white screen (still) after gba boot screen. Running an older version that worked before, now gives the binfsn error message. I had this same error message appear before, however it was fixed when i re-formatted by SD card and re-downloaded the bios, however this time that does nothing. New bios, freshly formatted SD card, and it still doesn't work even though it was working perfectly fine a few days ago. Trying to run it on an R4i gold 3ds+ with a DS Lite.

Is it possible to add full screen or scaling until it touches the side edges which GB in GBA? Obvious, when the problem of compatibility and savedatas is solved. I only ask for suggesting and knowing if it is possible

that is likely hard to do because the resolution of the GBA is too much different
