Last month I got a DSi and modded it with Memory Pit and now have TwiiLightMenu++ running on it. I've been looking for some neat DSiWare games to play, since it seems like I haven't been great at finding standout titles alone. Any of you have a favorite?

I have installed:

Nintendo Countdown Calendar & (Cinemax) Calculator - always nice to have some utilities on the go
101 Pinball World
Adventure in Vegas slot machine
21 Blackjack
The 3rd generation of Brain Age (three titles)
Petit Computer (v2) (of course)
Zenonia (was a famous iPhone game, still never played it lol)
Flashlight & Discolight by "Kaasa Solution" (worst dsiwares ever)
Puzzle League - it's actually a cut down version of a Japanese-only DS game but it's still an excellent example of touch controls
Game & Watch Ball and Flagman
TwlNandFiler (the official save manager for developers, not like you need it if you use emunand but it's cool)

Hm.. I couldn't find it in my repository of DSiWare, but I'll look for a download.. somewhere. It looks really interesting, based on that review.

Paper Airplane Chase, Mario vs. Donkey Kong Minis March Again and Zelda Four Swords Anniversary Edition are also games I always love to play.

I tried the Four Swords one, and I felt that it'd be a million times better with friends, something I have a stark lack of.

But I'm gonna give Paper Airplane Chase and the Mario vs. Donkey Kong ones a shot, since they both seem really interesting.

Puzzle League is definitely going on there. I didn't know it even had a DSiWare release, and if it's anything like Tetris Attack or Pokemon Puzzle League, I'm sure I'll enjoy it, since I loved those games.

Thank you, y'all have given me a decent handful of stuff to dig into! :D (and if anyone else still wants to suggest something that isn't here, I'm still up to trying it.. ;))

Yeah, it's exactly that kind of game, drag&drop makes it a lot more playable at higher speeds than button controls :)

I gave it a shot, and well...

I now have two hours logged on it already.

W-what!? I didn't even know this existed! I guess my "Complete list of DSiWare" isn't so complete after all.. :glare:

The hunt begins once more.

Petit Computer v2?

Two versions?

I cannot get Petit Computer to work directly from twilight menu. I have installed to emunand using tmfh.
I cannot still undertand how to edit these sample programs. :-/

Which region has your DS and which your Dsi Ware rom? Did you try to use the option "install as a system title" and did you make your game with a hex edit region free?

Yeah, the international one is the 2nd, the 3DS one is the 3rd, and the 1st one is a Japanese exclusive or whatever

I only use the official launcher (on emunand), I hate inaccurate ripoffs of official console UIs :)

Haven't tried in a while (you downloaded the official PDF manual, riight?) but you should be able to load them in direct mode, switch to the editor, do what you want coz a pirate is free, then save (as new program since you can't overwrite the official ones)

I've always wanted to try X-Scape. (It's a remake of the original wireframe Japanese-only Game Boy game that preceded Star Fox.)

Warioware Snapped is probably fun for five minutes.

So is Puzzle League DSi much different from Planet Puzzle League DS?

I was never all that big into Star Fox, but I didn't know that history was attached to it. I might give it a try just on that merit alone.

The lighting isn't good enough to play Warioware Snapped. It doesn't recognize my face 90% of the time, but when it does, the tracking is actually pretty good. It's just that I'd rather play.. any other WarioWare game. Preferably one I'm not stuck playing alone.

I never played Planet Puzzle League DS, but I've been playing a fuckton of the DSiWare game. Now that I don't have to sit down at a TV and play Tetris Attack for my niche puzzling action, I tend to spend a lot more time in it.

I also can't get Petit Computer to run. Just goes back to HiyaCFW after launching the nds.
