Hmmm, so I was messing around with it while flying around hyrule but after like 10mins, the code stopped working. So i went to deactivate the cheat and my system crashed.

its called dynamic address, for you the address your writing to might work, but for others it might be a different address hence not working.

so unless you have the correct pointer that covers all possible memory addresses, it might not work.

for example if your pointer covers the address which works for you 12345678, but for another the address is abcdefgh and the pointer doesnt reach this, there be your issue.

or the others arent using the same version of game.

I know but he said that his code was working and he was flying, and than it stopped working. I never heard that a dynamic adress change when playing a game. Just after a restart.

honestly even if the code does stop working after x amount of time and you have to restart the game to get it working again, thats a fucking win in my books, both OoT and Majoras mask 3D have this issue with the majority of the iterations of their moonjump cheats in spades and restarting is a small price to pay to have the cheat working at all without having to find the pointers ourselves to get it working every single time.

i think ive found for Ashley but maybe its the part that sets to max, if i set to 0 it keeps flashing but doesnt kill.

im going to do another scan but its in the region of 01132f41 could be upgrade health and not what the actual health is maybe

thats exactly what can happen, the point of finding pointers is that the game can at any time change the memory its allocated to handle it, same as if you find infinite health, die then continue and it changes.

if your playing and hit a different area it can change
