June 15th is a meme, not a hard date.

32GB NAND Size useless? Why are you installing everything to emuNAND? Install it to the SD card.. that makes no sense at all.
As EmuNAND is stored on sd card if you don't install to emuNAND then it is a waste of space on sd card.
If EmuNAND is smaller then there will be more space on sd card and this gives more space for both games and homebrew.
Because there is always a gb or two left on emuNAND which can't hold any games...

Is atmosphere as cohesive as sxos yet? the last time I checked, you have to inject a hekate payload THEN boot a certain version of atmosphere (LayeredFS or not?) then you get into the OS. And even in the OS you just hold R to get to the homebrew menu, what is there other than that? Does Atmosphere have a little SXOS-like menu yet?

I'm not trying to say atmosphere sucks I'm honestly asking do I have the wrong idea, or is Atmosphere just better bc its free and its coders dont steal? I sold my switch a while back and just got another one and I'm debating on whether to buy SXOS again or just use Atmosphere. I really liked SXOS because everything was just just quick, to the point, and really fucking easy. Is it like that for Atmosphere yet?

Well Hekate can be customized to auto-boot. Atmosphere doesn't have the, admittedly, cool menu like SxOs because it doesn't need it as it doesn't have nsp installing etc.
Atmosphere though gets updates muhc faster that sx os, it support kips, so xbox support, background music etc and is more stable, personally.
I use SX os cuurently and it's very good but i would very much like to use atmosphere and i suggest the same!
:)

You must have checked a while ago! For about 10 months Atmosphere has been bootable with Fusee, their bootloader. As @Hamdan said, you could also use hekate to autoboot. You can also change whether you need to press a button or not to enter the homebrew menu. And no, Atmosphere doesn't have an app like SX's and probably never will, that's a homebrew app's job.

So.. if atmosphere gets emunand ( something almost all people said nobody wants ) then it means the end of sxos...
so atmosphere was dead all this while and still is till they do emunand support ?
People need to realize what they say can be used both ways..
Dunno why these people talk shit about something they dont even use.. does it make your use of atmosphere better ?
The greatest thing about all this is that 80 % of atmosphere users use signature patches.. hypocrites i say.
Hold up. Did you say that atmosphere users didn't want it?....

So.. if atmosphere gets emunand ( something almost all people said nobody wants )
Nope I did not read that wrong.
You're a moron. The only reason why atmosphere has just now given support to it or started to is because they had different priorities, targeting on a replaceable module system and getting homebrew to more than just function. And then add emunand. We wanted it but understood it was not immediate priority for the team.

Logical fallacy. It's possible for two things that compete to exist at the exact same time. However something dies in the tech industry when it loses it's use or function to a competitor. Which in this case sxos is loosing it's dominance for emunand since they were for a time period a monopoly or unchallenged.

The "I'm trying to look smart so I'll say something that sounds smart so people believe me" cliché.

Did... did I just read that right? I'm I going insane?

Oh I read that right... unfucking believable. You sheer might of idiotic big brain power is going to make me collapse I swear.
I've think I've lost a couple brain cells. And more just trying to even explain how everything you said is incorrect or has no substance.
Hmm let's see possible applications of emunand... Oh I know one
NOT GETTING BANNED
And maybe making life a bit easier on the nand and not having to restore a nandbackup if you want to be safe. You know... Something I think is in... I don't know ,the common interest of this community? Since I don't know... MOST PEOPLE WORRY ABOUT IT.
And if your trying to imply that a argument that goes like
"Because atmosphere users don't use it since atmosphere doesn't provide it at the time, thus atmosphere users don't want it"
Which is a logical fallacy. Meaning it's just simply wrong.

We're the 15th, where is the release :creep:

"Also note: there may be a commit or two that don't make it in six days before the solstice due to time constraints. But that (and squashing bugs) is what 0.9.1 is for, amirite?"

solstice Friday, 21 June

21 June will be next 15th LOL

So much edge.

No, that’s for atmosphere support built in, it will probably be released separately.

AHHHHHHHHHh,
I am so confused. Are we getting EmuNAND today or not?

We might, that post says 6 days before the solstice which is June 15th but that could be a joke, another possible date is June 16th too. But I wouldn’t get your hopes up.

nope, as @Valery0p has said earlier
6 days before solstice means 21 June minus 6 which is ... ^_^ is planned for release 0.9
the "a commit or two that don't make it" will be for 0.9.1
one can only hope ^_^
