Hardware What should I do about my Samsung 512 GB EVO Plus SD card?

I bought a Samsung 512 GB EVO Plus SD card for my switch but it's been causing me issues, games and apps randomly cashing and requiring a full restart and I think it's been corrupting my boot.dat as I've had trouble booting back into CFW until I replace it wit a fresh copy, in short it's been utter wank

My question is, is this just me? Is anyone else having trouble with this card? I've been using sandisk 128 gig cards with zero issues on the switch for over a year. Is it worth trying another Samsung 512 GB EVO Plus? Or should I opt for the larger brother of the cards I'm already using and go for a 400 gig dandisk?

If you are on exFAT that might be part of the problem as exfat is more corruption-prone, but you might wanna run a h2testw test on the card to see if the card is fake or not.

I was using fat32! I can’t run any tests on it at this point as I’ve already sent it back but I did put approx 300 gig of data on there so it seems size wise it was legit

Either return the card to where you bought it or contact Samsung for warranty servicing. I use Samsung Evo Select 128gb with my Switch on exfat and no issues. Switch is 5.1.0 Reinand. (It is the Amazon-exclusive version of your sd card)
