Awesome! I will look forward to Tales of Arise for my PC and PS4. Look like same like from Tales of Symphonia. That's my favorite kind of game!

I have old Tales of Symphonia games for my Nintendo GameCube and Nintendo Wii. Very fun games and take many hours spent on it. I love all.

I never heard about Elden Ring before. I would like to try it and see if I like or not. :)

I did not expect the new Tales game to look like that. Just those leaked screenshots look absolutely fucking GORGEOUS!

I just hope the framerate will be stable on any/all systems that it'll come out on.

Oh, and no Epic Store exclusive bullshit please.

I hope this new Tales game is actually good. The latest entries have been somewhat mediocre. Wish they'd port older titles to Steam so I don't have to rely on emulation.

For me there is the Post Vesperia era where Hideo Baba came along(Hearts, Xillia , Zesteria Berseria). While he is a good game maker and many were successful, it was a mismatch and was poison of varying strength people had to swallow for many who enjoyed the classic aspects of the franchise, and looking at these screencaps, I believe the poison is still strong in the developers. We may never have another mainline Tales game in the spirit of Vesperia and the games that came before it.

But I hope for the best. For me at least, I think Dragon Quest XI, especially since they had an "S mode" did a great job transitioning while keeping a lot of the spirit of the previous games, so it can happen.

Hmm...so Tales of Arise vaguely sounds like a cross between Tales of Symphonia and perhaps the Phantasy Star series? I do hope the new engine translates into more stable framerate. :/

it is unreal 4, of course it does not has a stable framerate lol.

Do we get any game for switch at all?

a port, that is what the switch is, a PORTable handheld.

While I do prefer the art style of the older Tales games this doesn't look too bad. I hope it goes back to the combo system of Vesperia or Xillia which I still think are the best in the series.

NNK coming out on PC I'd a nice surprise and is a game I've been wanting to play for a good while now so I definitely need to jeep my eyes on that.

I will need to see more on the other game before I pass judgement.

Technically I said "more stable", but yea, I was hoping for an actually stable framerate. :( I presume there will be a toafix released by the community almost immediately. What confuses me is how Bandai Namco didn't notice in testing the frame rate issues in previous PC games or if they did, why they let them go in the final game as acceptable. :/

As if that was the only game worth buying a PS3 for.
Never meant to imply that, but it was one of a few PS3 titles that really interested me. I like Level-5 a lot (fan of the Professor Layton series), and I love Ghibli's animations.

Most of the PS3's exclusives just don't speak to me, and that's okay. :P

Yes, it is perfectly ok. :) Although with around 300 exclusives titles spread throughout retail and PSN, I'm certain you would have gotten some very good use out of the console.

Truth be told, I was a fan of the old Gran Turismo games. Would be neat if I could try the newer entries in the series...

I also have a friend who wants me to play Persona 5, and that's an exclusive...
This is off-topic, but I actually do have a PS3. A friend bought me one she found at a Goodwill, but as soon as she brought it to me I immediately noticed that it smelled like an ashtray. :wtf:

I stripped it down and threw the shell in a tub of vinegar water for a few hours. I cleaned the motherbord, which was covered in a layer of a tar-dust mixture. After reassembling it, I turned it on to find its HDD full of interracial porn.

Needless to say, this PS3 is cursed, and now it just sits in the garage. :)
It still smells like an ashtray, too — just less so.

Maybe I should buy a superslim, especially because they're apprently modable in some capacity (though last I checked, superslims and late slims still don't have full CFW). Either that, or an early slim. My porn-laden PS3 isn't even old enough to install a permanent CFW; it's a later slim...
So there are a few games I could try. If I ever find a PS3 at a good enough price, maybe I'll find even more games. :P

Either way, I am excited to finally get to play Ni no Kuni. :)

Hmm... I've never played Ni no Kuni before, but I've always wanted to. I just couldn't get myself to buy a PS3 for it.
I'll definitely be picking it up on Switch! :P
i dont suppose they will be fixing the horribly boring, repetetive and grindy combat though.
what is otherwise a gorgeous game is hindered by the terrible combat, sadly...
