FYI, I've had no problems with AliExpress and when I have had to contact the actual AliExpress staff (not the sellers, much like Amazon, they have resellers) they spoke excellent English and gave me service on par with Amazon or any other web retailer.Amazon is telling me it’ll be a month before I get mine. Any alternatives besides aliexpress don’t trust ebay and there is like one and looks like a very bad knock off.
I would suggest that if shipping time is the issue, check the box with shipping options as they usually offer at least like 5-6 different options from several companies and use the money saved buying direct from warehouses etc to pay for a decent (non-free) shipping option. I suggest E-Packet when available as it is a result of government treaties (US Post according to your Flag icon) and it is quite cheap for middling fast shipping.
You do realize AliExpress is like one of the biggest websites in the world right? It's not like something somebody cooked up in a few hours in their spare time. It's a huge multinational corporation, they can certainly afford to replace you 50 cents worth of chinese screws or whatever.
I bought a display assembly for a tablet that got broken. The seller didn't want to ship again so I called the support line and they gave me my y$150 or whatever back, no questions asked. Other than that I've never had any serious disagreements (any other problems were immediately remedied by the seller, although sometimes with language barriers.)
