Since it's a hypervisor it's using the dses code like the wiis dol since it's using the dses code it would allow for more customization like nintendont is that true? I gave up on injecting games because it's too time consuming just for gba games. But I might try again soon.

Perhaps I am behind on recent developments, but last I heard, Gbarunner2 is not a practical way to run GBA games. I don't think it even has sound, and it risks corrupting your SD card.

In theory GBArunner2 would one day be just as good, but its got a long way to go. Even the few games it emulates about perfectly (Aria of Sorrow) have significant sound latency.

So one day it will be better with more customization basically. Either way gbarunner2 is way better because it's just drag and drop for 16mb games I'm alright with Nintendont injection because their gamecube games.

Right now you will spend so much time with GBArunner2 trying out games that half-work or don't work that you'd be better off just injecting what you want. The list of games that fully work is rather small, even if it does include some great ones, but if you want a small list of games you can just inject them anyway.

Use MGBA or Retroarch's gPSP w dynarec off if you just want to load roms fast, you'll find a good number of games playable on New systems. Then you can just inject whatever isn't performing up to par.

How much games are you trying to play? a game takes about 5 minutes to customize, and you can automate the process so it's about 2 minutes.
Injection has a few things better than GBARunner2:
Runs perfectly
GBA Games appear in the home menu
You can add sleep and hard-reset patches

GBARunner2, while being simple drag and drop and pretty good emulation,
can corrupt your SD Card (if you enable saving)
and isn't as accurate as the injects.

Although if you still insist on easy play of GBA Games you have 2 options:

Use TWiLightMenu++ for GBARunner2
or (If you have a NEW 3ds) use mGBA's latest builds.
OLD 3DS Systems can't emulate GBA Well.

If you want to inject games go to this tool:
It can inject way more than GBA.

Apparently you have to patch some roms to be able to save and idk how to use my saves with the injected roms do I inject the saves in.

Never heard of those patches
You can inject saves with this:
https://3ds.hacks.guide/godmode9-usage#restore-gba-vc-saves
Just swap the backed up save file with your own

How do I inject patched roms and where are all the resources to find out the correct rom save type.
The save file is picked automatically, you can change it.

If it is a valid GBA game*, why not?

* some romhacks (and homebrews), especially in the older days where accurate emulators were unpopular or simply didn't exist, were programmed in a way incompatible with actual consoles

Uh it says drill dozer has no save type is it because of the rumble pak I might have to emulate it

The correct save type for that game is 256 Kb SRAM/FRAM, according to http://advanscene.com/html/Releases/dbreleases.php?id=2283 (a very recommended website for GBA/DS and some more platforms game information), so you'd need to select that option while packaging the game to cia
Option to swap save type doesn't exist also what do I do if a translated game says it's not in the database. Plus one of my games release date appears "19??". I'm using nsui and I'm not going through a corruption again. Plus what do if a game doesn't appear on the compatibility list. Plus again what can I do if Pokemon emerald doesn't appear in the database for some reason. And I heard you have to patch super Mario advance 4 with e-reader levels for in order it to work is that true?

It's on the bottom right iirc...

Simply don't use the database, it only provides defaults for the other options you can always configure manually

No, the clean rom will work fine - as long as you set the correct save type, of course (which is 1 Mb/128 KB Flash)

The patch (which converts the version sold in stores for use on the GBA to the WiiU one) is useful if you want to experience the e-Reader levels, since (with no serial port emulation) you have no chance of connecting an e-Reader to a 3DS, but isn't required at all

Similiarly you may read about patching other 128 KB Flash games (usually to convert them to SRAM or Flash 64KB) - those claims should be ignored, since in september 2017 it was demonstrated, against previous knowledge, that agbfirm does indeed support 128KB Flash

I know where it is the only option is none plus my saves from the emulator I had don't work even though it's the same rom if I inject the game saves it just wipes the original save game.
