If your Switch are unpatched you don't have any to worry, the current version 8.0.1 it's supported by atmosphére, just take care with new updates before update.

Anyways, the RCM exploit can't be patched through software, so you can mantain a backup and downgrade when you like, just need hekate or other bootloader that skip the fuse check process to boot.

I restored my 5.1 clean nand last night. Thanks to everyone who helped, again.

I want to avoid any unecessary risk of getting ban, so i'll burn my fuses, Chocola. I don't have any interest in downgrading if everything concerning hack works well on the latest firmware. If i ever want to have a "permanent" cfw i'll just use a switchme or trinket m0 in my switch.

I'll keep my sysn updated to play online, and wait for atmos emunand to enjoy cfw again offline. I think this is the best way to use my switch.

That's currently what I'm doing. I've switched back and forth several times, but constantly making and restoring nand backups is a hassle. I really feel like open source emunand is on the horizon.
