I'm having a bit of trouble. I currently have six forwarded games on my old 2013 3DS. I tried to forward a couple more, Pokemon Explorers of Sky, Pokemon Platinum, and Luminous Arc, however all three of them give me a white top screen and a black bottom screen that says "Start failed. Error 1 SD card template not found.". The other five games, Chibi Robo Clean Sweep, Etrian Odyssey, Disegea, Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team, and Hello Kitty Big City Dreams, all work fine. The only real thing I can think of as to why they aren't working is a possible megabyte limit, since all three of the games have over 100 MB in the ROM. Other than that, I'm completely stumped as to what's happening and how to fix it.

The other five forwarders are outdated, and need to be recreated.
Also, to fix the error, download and extract the latest SD card forwarder pack.

I really love this a lot! Its super useful and user friendly too... but one question, how can I export or import save data? I downloaded pokemon heartgold and converted it using your method and it works without any problems but i would like to edit its save file on my pc, how can i do that?

You of course, need the tool to edit the save.
If you do have it, the save files are located in the "saves" folder, inside the ROM folder.

Thank you very much! I didn't know where the saves were located. I tried to extract the save the old-fashioned way, I opened FBI and tried extracting it by browsings through the title's save location.

I love your software a lot, I can play all my olds NDS games without having to buy a flash cart... its super easy to use too! And doesnt need third party apps or something like twilightmenu

Sorry for not reading 264 pages of comments.... :teach:

If i already have TwilightMenu++ installed on my new3ds, what would i need to download from this dropbox folder for these forwarders to work?
Would i just need the ntr_forwarder folder and .ini. and your program, or do i need these specific nds_bootstrap.nds files?

I'm using the TwilightMenu++ for CFW SD card users,
and just want to know if i can keep my current nds_bootstrap versions and just download those 2 ntr_forwarder files..

Thanks Rob.

So I'm getting the Black on top screen white bottom and I see that you have a solution to that but I don't understand it, can you simplify it to my dumber terms? Thanks

hey, I love your project and it works nicely. But I have this issue where I can't seem to launch the converted ds games. I created a "roms" folder on the root of the DS card and put the rom.nds, the .cia file and the .nds file that the software has created. I also have put the _nds folder on the root of my sd card. It yesterday worked fine when I installed Pokemon Heartgold on my 3DS but now when I'm trying it with Pokemn Soulsilver, it doesn't seem to work. Any solutions for this? Or did I miss something? The downloaded nds rom and the nds and cia file created by forwarder are all in the same folder. I also made sure to select the .nds rom via the browser while it's in the roms folder

What happens when you try to launch them?

The bottom screen is just blank white while the top screen is just black. I feel like I did something wrong, because it worked without any issues when I installed pokemon heartgold

So i followed all the steps and stuff, reinserted my sd card into my 3ds, and now whenever i try to open an app like fbi, and everything else it says i need to redownload it from the eshop. After that when i turn my 3ds off and turn it back on the app is gone, so i dont have fbi and the homebrew launcher anymore. Tried googling my problem and nothing useful appeared.

So I used this before with no problem sometime last year, but on trying today, I double click the .jar file and nothing opens. I've tried this on two PCs (Windows 7 and 10) and I have Java updated on both. What should I do?

What the actual eff?
Did your dog die too?

This sounds like SD card and or ticketdb corruption..

Did you happen to be on the new 3DS firmware update when this happened? (11.10)

Try uninstalling JRE altogether, then re-install.

Download the files from here again and see if the .jar works.
