Right now I am very close to playing Guitar Hero WOT DLC on a real console, but I got stuck on the last step.
So I've managed to compile kernel files successfully, and got UNEEK+DI to run on vWII. But no matter what game format and folder I used, driver interface show Games:0.

Is there something I am missing? What can be the issue

Here are some screenshots:

Inside my fat32 32kb cluster HDD

"sneek" folder

di.bin - compiled using this guide
diconfig.bin - created when I first launched UNEEK
font.bin - necessary file, provided by thejaso (can also be found here)
kernel.bin - compiled using this guide

"wbfs" folder

These games were installed via WiiBackupManager

"games" folder

These games were converted from WBFS to SNEEK using WiiBackupManager (I also tried DiscEx 0.8 and 0.9)

I just went through all of this with Rock Band 3 and the DLC. I also could not see the games. I replaced my font.bin and then the game showed up. I can DM the file if you want.

vWii USBLoaders do support EmuNAND.
You asked me in PM, but you didn't do the correct steps to get the game in the correct format.

I'll copy/paste my answer here, because PM is the worst place to provide help.
now it's public and can benefit everyone :

There are 2 different things :

If you use Neek (NOT NEEK2O) : you need to EXTRACT the game in a specific neek format using DiscEX (not wiibackupmanager) and put the result in /games/titleID/ folder.

if you use Neek2o : you need the WBFS file generated using wiiBackupManager to put it into /wbfs/Title [TitleID]/TitleID.wbfs

so, which one are you using?
- neek + discex
- neek2o + wiibackupmanager
you can't mix them.

edit:
I didn't know there were a neek conversion tool on latest release. I don't use the latest.
again : WiiBackupManager SHOULD NEVER BE USED To convert !
it's an installer tool.
converting manually is prone to user error ! you convert ... then what ? you put the file on the wrong place on your device.

you first need to learn how neek is working, not expect it to work the way you choose.

Are you sure the DLC is not working with emuNAND Full ?
do you really need Neek ?

If I got it right, I use neek + discex

I had to look at many places to get all your information ! (here, PM, vwii neek)
please, don't post everywhere in the forum, you'll don't get faster help, it's worse !

I see in vWii sneek thread that you posted your folder structure.
please keep everything in this thread (or in vWii neek thread), it'll be easier for every users to help you by knowing what you did so far.

So, what we know :
you use neek (not neek2o)
You have +di
you use Uneek? Which partition ? (I suppose F)
your games are in "neek format" (FST, extracted format), in F:/games/titleID6/, F is the same partition than your emuNAND folder?

Did you test :
font.bin present in sneek folder?
vWii UNeek2o + wbfs support ?
USBLoader + emuNAND Full ? (no neek at all)
did you already install the DLC? how? which tool you used? how big is your DLC file?

Did this ever get resolved. A few weeks ago I was able to see my wii games on UNEEK +DI and now I can't anymore. Nothing changed as far as I can tell, but I'm not sure what I should be looking for.

well, look for .. everything again?
you have to try to switch almost everything to narrow the possibilities.

try another emuNAND folder to see if the problem is your folder
if it works again, it's probably one of the game which is corrupted or corrupting the system files, try reinstall games by batches, etc.

try another way to launch neek
try another device (it might be dead), or try it with another loader or homebrew (wii games, gamecube games, media players, etc.)
try your exact same device+folder on another console if possible, see if the problem is the console, the wiimote, a setup, etc
Do you have "+di"? did you try to delete di.bin ?

you have to try and actually analyze what you expect and what you see instead.

Thanks Cyan. I thought that I might have to go through everything. I think that the file structure is okay because the system will boot the wii menu, unlike when i had missing folders or bad kernel. I will try rebuilding kernel and di and see if that works. I will try different peripherals and such. I will let everyone know how things progress.

I don't think that vWii usb loaders support EmuNand. I need EmuNand for Guitar Hero/Rock Band DLC. So the only option is to somehow launch a game via Disc Channel in UNEEK+DI
try to use revision 198

like I said, are you using di on purpose ?
did you try without di.bin file?

di require a game, but NOT a wbfs file !
you need to extract the game into a FST format with discex or wbmanager.
to verify if it's a di problem, move away that file from sneek folder so it's not initialized and trying to mount extracted games.

if you want to use wbfs games files, you need neek2o, not neek.

No I am not using WBFS. I have a game I converted using Discex. As stated I had everything working a few weeks ago, but now the game does not show, and was wondering if anyone had an idea as to why that would happen. I am going through everything now, replacing sd and HDD, reconverting disc files, rebuilding sneek. Just was looking for a point in a direction sso maybe I would n;t have to go through everything

you are saying neek is still launching, just not displaying your game?
if it was a di issue, neek wouldn't launch at all.
so at least, it detects there is an extracted game, but can't mount it. maybe the folder's content is the problem, but it should be read only, files should never change or be deleted without your input.

sorry, I don't know how to fix your problem without testing different things one by one.

Correct the menu loads. I have not seen any help issues with games not mounting. Is there anything like that?

I don't know any help either.
I don't know why it used to work and it just stopped without reason. (well, there's always a reason, you just have to find it).
maybe the FAT table is corrupted and affects the file list in the extracted game folders?

you tried to completely delete the games folder and re-extract your game? don't just copy the folder to a new device, if it's corrupted it'll stay corrupted.

Well I found a copy of the old USB files and copied them over and now I am up running. I do not know what is different, but everything is working now.
