If you were gonna fit a modchip then you can update all you want, update via choidujourNX with autoRCM on.

Joycon mod is the way to go if you don't want to use autoRCM. Just make sure it's not a permanently ON mod (like bending the pins together or simply bridging them with solder) as this will fuck them up when Nintendo pushes a Joycon update. Installing some kind of switch is better. I never used a jig on my Switch, I modded the right joycon first day.
Anyone with a switch serial XAW700106 and is hackable? I just wanted know out of curiosity since Its my 2nd switch. It was on 4.0.1 out of the box brand new but dont plan to hack it eitherway

Also don't post your whole serial number, just part of it (XAW700106 would be better)

I saw in the store couple of days ago, and when I checked the serial number it said it may be patched. The day after, I decided to take the chance and flipped the coin and...it wasn't patched!
