Thank you for the suggestion! I was able to download the update with pkgj but when I try to install it, it says "Download failure: scePromoterUtilityPromotePkgWithRif failed: 0x80871c04"
I would suggest you backup your save if you have one, delete the game and install from pkgj it also installs the patch automatically.
No just rerun henkaku or h-encore again it will reinstall it

I got the game and patch installed using PKGj and it appears to be working fine. Thank you for all the help. PKGj is a dream compared to searching online for .vpk files. I hadn't touched my Vita for nearly two years so I was just used to doing things the way we did back then.
