Recently updated my switch to 8.1.0 and also Atmosphere 0.8.10 now a lot of my games won't start. "Says unable to start software. Return to Home and try again". Any ideas?

High chance it is poorly converted nsp if they are converted with older version of 4nxci.

Tried reinstalling and still not working. Might be poor conversion then? Why would it work on previous firmwares though?

is this a problem on 8.0.0? I might downgrade. I don't want to redownload 80% of my games.

How do I get these? I've always updated via sdsetup and never had an issue and didn't need to get anything else.

This happened to me too and using the most up to date SX OS. Simply you need to uninstall/delete the games from your "Data Management" from Switch setting. Then just reinstall as usual (either nsp and/or xci files). Everything works just fine after reinstall.

Got the same problem after upgrading to 8.01. I am using sx pro on fw 2.7.1 beta.

I updated 2 games and installed cuphead with latest patch and these work while all others, nsp and Xci flies alike do not.

I’m wondering if a update of the game is enough or if I have to reset the whole console or format the memory.

I'm not using SXOS. Using the newest Atmosphere

did you also install es patches?
Where do I get those? Also why have I not had to do this in the past? Just curious why this update broke almost all my games.

I tried that.
Get an error has occurred.
Worked with no issue before 8.0.1
