HI there.
Been searching for ways to update vita to 3.65 from 3.60 as i read games have issue with 3.6 firmware and need to be patched etc.
Before I had 3.65 vita and loved it and sold it:( One i bought now has 3.60
Whats the best and safest way to update it?

No need to update.. Put enso on it and the Refood plugin..that will handle the games that demand firmware above..
