Need a little quirky simulation fun in your life? Then it's time to go grab The Sims 4, which is currently being offered for free on PC. If you haven't already gotten the chance to play the most recent entry in the Sims franchise, then you can now, by going over to EA's website and adding the game to your Origin account. You have until May 28th to grab a copy of The Sims 4. The base game itself has come a long way since its original 2014 release, adding terrain editing, more clothing options, and yes, pools were eventually brought back, in a free update. Meanwhile, there's over 14 paid content packs, which all enhance the experience. If you're looking to play The Sims 4 with every single one of its paid DLCs, you can at a cost, by subscribing to EA Origin Access, at $14.99 a month.

...No thanks... I already got it through... Other means. I said it once and I'll say it again. I'm not giving EA a penny. Sure, the game is free for now. But its DLC? Pff, it's laughable... DLC for DLC... No thanks.

Kinda surprised it's not always free, wife wanted it a few years ago, I remember checking the price thinking I would just buy it so she doesn't have any problems with dlc compatibility, the dlc alone was over $100.

Aye, you keep it.

They gave away Sims 2 with all the DLC a while back and I still play it from time to time. I'd argue it's a better game than 4, even if it is a little rough around the edges nowadays.

Eventually they will sell the complete edition. Had done so for sims 1 & 2. 3 complete edition comes out soon.

I’ve been wanting to get The Sims 4 for a long time, I got it right after I saw it in the free games thread. Probably not gonna play it for a few months. As for EA, I don’t think I’m making any actual purchases on that account I made yesterday :creep:

I'll grab the game ive been waiting for this to go free on ea origin thank god finally. I ain't buying the DLC I've seen the LGR videos. Way too much lack luster content compared to sims 2 and sims 3.

I recently finally finished my sims 3 DLC collection on steam and I think I have seasons on ea origin cus I fucked up the key transfer. I know how to add the DLC to the steam game though so it's ok.

OH man I wish I knew about that all my install discs are scratched
