This isn't a grudge I need to let go of, but an opinion. And no my opinion hasn't changed. Fact is just because a lot of time has passed doesn't mean windows Vista has gotten any better, as an example, so what's time got to do with it?
In the past I don't think I was very vocal about my opinion on pimpmywii because it may seem biased due to my competing app, but now so much time as passed I just think F it, I'll say what I want. I could sit here and list a bunch of reasons why pimpmywii has inherent issues, but I really don't care if ppl use it, I'll continue to drop my "ModMii is better" 2 cents and ppl can do what they want but at least I'm presenting them with an alternative (albeit with little thought or effort).
You say only idiots brick their wii with pimp my wii, and for a moment I'll accept your premise that all pimpmywii bricks were due to user error... that's a huge assumption btw. But assuming all the bricks are due to user error, I think it's STILL because of an app that promises a modded console with zero thought. These 1-click solutions create/attract so-called "idiots" that don't care to do any kind of background reading whatsoever. Even if pimpmywii worked perfectly I'd still be against it for this reason. If you want to use it, go ahead. But there's a reason why it's not stickied at any respectable forum like gba or the den.
Edit: and is it truly computerless? How does one get pimpmywii onto their sd card? Also, how does pimpmywii help you launch an exploit to run the hackmii installer? I'd hardly call it a from A to Z solution/approach let alone fully computerless

Holy Moly 4 TB hard drive? for the us based wii games isn't a 2tb sufficient or what all did you put on a 4tb? Because I am very interested lol I have like 8 modded wii's 2 of which of 2 tb hard drives but split between some GC games and Wii games a terabyte each.

The North America collection will not fit on a 2TB. You need at least 3TB for the full NA collection.
In all fairness, this forum here primarily supports ModMii, hence why it is stickied. The Complete Softmod Guide used to also be stickied, but has been removed. Someone may find more support for pimpmywii on a different forum.
It's kind of liking going into a Ford Truck dealership and wanting them to sell you a brand new Toyota truck instead.
Most individuals here will say that they would recommend modmii over any other method of fully hacking their wii. Some other forum will push it's preferred method. For that alone does not make any kind of a grudge. What motivation does XFlak have to hold a grudge against any other method for? It's not like any other method took money away from him as he developed a FREE application requiring hundreds of hours working on it and has been used by 10's of thousands of people without a single brick ever.
I am sorry to say this, but I have repaired multiple wii's that were bricked via PimpMyWii. So what XFlak says about that software holds water. Sure, it may have been user error, but then that just goes to say enough that ModMii is even more user intuitive and thus has a reason for it to be why it is the wii softmodding choice of this forum.
@Bat420maN Honestly, with the way you are attacking XFlak, especially bringing in other things that are outside of this PimpMyWii/ModMii conflict, it tells me that you are the one with the personal grudge for some reason.
I think it is best for everyone involved to just cut it out, go smoke some pot, and go separate ways. No need to have a fight over something so simple.
