mattytrog, Has anyone reported not being able to pair pro controllers over USB while docked after installing a chip & this software? While it's not an issue for me since they can be paired outside the dock with a type-C to type-A adapter I'm just wondering if it's something to do with the chip or the software because they can pair again over USB if I remove power from the chip.

What chip is it? Not RCMX86 by any chance is it?

I've got a SwitchME

Hmmm... Shouldn`t be an issue. If pairing over USB, do you have the wired mode for pro controller enabled in settings?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

DOUBLE POST.

Fusee-UF2 v3 and Switchboot 1.3.5 online.

RCMX86 users can now use an LED (should work fine) - Connect to D0 and GND

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Switchboot Changelog v1.3.5:
  • Changed chip info screen to make less squashed
  • Removed BOOTS subfolders in backups. Just adding to confusion and people were forgetting BOOT0/1 when backing up. So BOOT0/BOOT1 are in the BACKUP_ folder with the rest of the partitions.
  • Tidied code up a little (more work to do on the source though
  • Dump all keys now makes keys.txt in SD root as well as usual prod.keys. This is for ChoiDujour use. You can use this file with CMD line version. No alteration necessary
  • Hekate upstream changes - hash file support in backups
  • RCMX86 LED provision added. Use D0 and GND for your LED (testing)
  • Mode 2 and 4 are now Fusee-UF2 V3. So you can change between Switchboot and Fusee-UF2 via your volume button.

Fusee-UF2 Changelog v3:
  • Changed button layout to make more "logical"
  • General tidy-up
  • Default behaviour is look for payload.bin or payload1.bin, in either SD root or bootloader / payloads.
  • Please see readme which is generated by holding VOL-/VOL+ during power-on...
  • Fusee-UF2 txt files moved to bootloader/switchboot/info to keep SD root tidy. Compatible with Switchboot v1.3.5
  • RCMX86 LED provision added. Use D0 and GND for your LED (testing)
See OP for a look at the readme file (paths_info.txt)

No, it is off on both of my Switch consoles and the stock one doesn't have this particular issue. like I said, I'm not stressing it since I can always use my type-c to A adapter to pair them, just a slight wonder.

Edit: I've also put both consoles in both docks, so I can rule out one of them being faulty.

Once the payload has been pushed, the chip goes to sleep, freeing USB. Furthermore, it is hard-coded to disable the USB interface on the chip.

I think the problem you are having is probably similar to the UF2 update problem we had a while ago. On CFW consoles (probably something to do with Sept), you could not access the UF2 drive. I think it could possibly something similar to this.

If it is, then there isn`t much I can do about it.

well, that makes sense. Guess I'll just keep rolling with the Type-C to A adapter when I change consoles around. Btw thanks for the software I got tired of plugging a dongle into my switch to boot it.

No problem! Thank you for taking a look at it!

If anyone downloaded v1.3.5, I made a little mistake which was causing strap info display to display nonsense characters and straps_info.txt wasn`t found etc etc... Now fixed.

Grab v1.3.5a from my git in OP.

Hmmm... Let the screen go black, then double-press reset, then connect.
Did that exactly, the chip was blinking the red and green LEDs a couple of times, but then it stopped. (I connected the USB while this was happening, thus after pressing reset twice)
The LEDs stopped blinking, and no drive popped up still.

I also see .bin files, was there a way to flash the chip through a payload.bin?

I got the Trinket M0 with all Straps installed, I also see this was changed two months ago:
https://github.com/mattytrog/Switchboot_PART_1

Is this also updated since you installed chip and fixed Switch?

Also, I am now slightly confused which update I install, this one:
https://github.com/mattytrog/Fusee-UF2

Or this one:
https://github.com/mattytrog/Switchboot_PART_2

Thanks!

Nope all the same. Is the payload still being pushed OK from the chip?

Yea it works fine. :)

Just updating it seems to give me a hard time.
So there is no way to updating it though a other method?

Was the LED behaviour correct?
It sounds like you are missing the timing of the double press reset. The light should be "breathing"... Fast until plugged in, then once enumerated it should "breathe" slower. Cheers :)

I am not sure what I just did different, but it works now, thanks a ton!
I updated successfully! :)

I have only used Switchboot so far, should I be intrested in Fusee F2 at all?

Depends on if you want to launch from chip or SD card.

That is up to you Sir!

That's why Argon-nx is good, the simple fact is that if you want to use CFW - you need to use a micro sd card and place some files on it, having the ability to run any payload you want is the best thing flashing your chip with that payload (for me), is great! I still like using your payload though, it has some very good features & combines a few different things into 1 file.

A bit Off topic, but finally this came today:

Now I can program a bootloader & test my chips without doing soldering - thank goodness as that is a pain in the ass with these chips :-)
