I know many threads have been made about this but I didn't think they match my details.

It all started when my switch crashed after trying to install an NSP I believe through tinfoil and when I pressed the button to automatically restart and get out of the crash my switch shut down (it seems?) and will not go into RCM mode no matter what. I have AutoRCM enabled so this leads me to believe that my switch is out of batter. I left it for a total of 2 days charging. One day in the dock and one day connected directly to ac cord. TegraRCM still will not detect that their charging after pressing the powerbutton or using a jig. I don't know what to do at this point to at least get my switch to turn on even.

Is their any advice I can get?

Press and hold power button for 20 seconds

Plug charger in and charge it for a long time - A few hours or more

Unplug charger

Press and hold power button for 20 seconds

Press power to turn on

Press and hold power button for 20 seconds

Insert jig

Plug USB cable into PC while vol+ is held

Tried this?

Have a spare battery to try?

Nope no battery. But I will try the jig method again even with AutoRCM

Out of 300+ switch mods only seen 1 dead / faulty battery.

Whats the tool used called?

I've went ahead and bought a new battery. I hope this fixes the issue, definitely turning autorcm off the second I get the chance if this works
It's an external charger used for charging RC helicopter cells, ensure the one you get supports Li-ion, they're more known as "balanced chargers"
