I just want to play Wii Games on USB Loader GX with my USB Stick, if i load games from another region will they work right away or can my vWii or Wii U brick? It is not that important if the games are on the vWii or Wii U menu ( how does this work with WUP Installer)? Do i need Priiloader at all if i dont use disc just isos?
Sorry i am a little confused and scared at the same time :)

You are giving out new info here and there. First discs then isos and now USB stick... I hope you won't eventually talk about a Wii.

Start by searching "flash drives" in this forum and see for yourself. I don't want to repeat myself the thousandth time.

I never have a single issue with .wbfs files. Wii isos won't fit on FAT32 partitions while gamecube isos can't run on non FAT32 partitions. The choice is obvious if you wanted the best of both world.

Sure, I should have quoted @nightweb and not you. But anyways in the first post he clearly says he can only find games from USA region. It definetely could be possible that he is only able to find used NTSC games locally or online, but I interpret it as he can only find dumps of NTSC games online, which is very likely since finding PAL dumps can be a chore.

Yes exactly, i am only able to find NTSC games online. There are not much PAL games i could get online.
I already know how to install Wii Games to USB Loader GX, but i only installed Wii Games from my region I just put the files on my Flash Drive and i can play them. Just want to know if this also would work with out of region games like the USA , because i am not able to find any PAL Games Online.

Where did i say that i am using disc ? Yes sorry i mean flash drive (thought the german words was the same as in english :) )

Sorry if i am confusing you guys but its most likely because i cant speak english that well :)

Yes, it works just the same way as with your PAL games. There's nothing different you have to do. Trust me I've done it on my PAL WiiU and four PAL wii's.

Incidentally, what games are you trying to play?

So if i am using a Disc from another region i need Priiloader, and if i am using USB Loader Gx i dont have to do anything? Not even change any setting on the loader?
And does this also work with WiiWare?

PS. did you search "flash drives" in this forum? In short, don't mess with flash drives on Wii/WiiU

Oh, I didn't notice you mentioned WiiWare. For those you actually need to be careful cus running out of region WiiWare on WiiU needs extra attention to what you are doing because there is a high risk of bricking your vWii. From what I remember vWii needs WiiWares that have been catered to it and will possibly brick when installing WiiWare wads from other regions, unless they have been properly made. There are guides on how to do WiiWares on this forum I just don't remember what they are called. I'll eventually have to look it up again for myself since there are some out of region Wads I would like to install.

Oh ok, nice.
I am currently playing One Piece Unlimited Cruise 1 and 2. These are the only games i could find which are on PAL Region i consider playing.
I would like to play Mario Kart Wii, Wii Party, Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Zelda Skyward Sword, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 and maybe some other.

I didnt find anything. Why shouldn't i mess with flash drives? Mine works perfectly fine whit USB Loader GX.

Yes, you can play for your region though I seem to remember those Wads also need to be properly made.
Actually I found this thread which says that you're fine installing games and stuff from the wii shop, but installing channel forwarders is more tricky. Therefore you should be good installing any wii game wad.

So the region of WiiWare games isnt important? What are channel forwarders? I just want to play the Wii Shop Games which you cant sadly buy anymore.

Channel forwarders are channels you have on your wii menu (so not the ones you have on usbloader gx2), and they FORWARD you to an app or a game you have on your usb (in other words it is a shortcut much like you have on windows). Therefore it is different from a wii shop game in .wad because the forwarder just redirects you to boot an app on your usb, like snes9x, and is therefore a very small .wad file, whereas a wii shop game .wad is usually bigger in size and contains actual game files.

An example of forwarder can be a Luigi's Mansion channel on your wii menu that let's you boot straight into Luigi's Mansion without going into usbloader gx2 first and then clicking and booting the game there. A forwarder essentially does these commands for you without any input from you. These need to be tailormade for the WiiU's vWii menu.

So can i just install the WiiWare Games as same as normal games? So just put the WiiWare .wad files to the flash drive and play them on USB Loader GX ? I also found a method using Mutli-Mod Manager. But it was used in a normal Wii not a vWii. Would this method still work?

Why shouldn't i mess with flash drives? Mine works perfectly fine weiht USB Loader GX.

I never had a problem either, but I switched to a hard drive years ago for the extra space as WBFS file system was annoying to add and remove games all the time. Fortunately we got FAT32 eventually and I'm still using the same enclosure but an even bigger drive.

In the mean time there are supposedly some compatibility issues with games crashing with flash drives and nobody knows how to fix it (or can be bothered to look because usb sticks are kinda pointless).

Also people have been reporting problems with usb sticks killing themselves if you dump your own game discs (something to do with writing a lot of data to them).

Download Priiloader and enable Priiloader hacks. From the Priiloader hacks menu, enable Region-Free disc based games. For USB Loader GX, games on a HDD from different regions work straight out of the box.
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you download Priiloader. It is perfectly fine on the Wii, but as you said you are using a vWii on your Wii U and Priiloader will cause an instant brick if you download it on that.

Nice necrobump on a four year old thread.

Anyway, this is irrelevant. Wii Mini support has been a thing for some time now, and full vWii support was literally added two weeks ago in v0.10.0. https://github.com/DacoTaco/priiloader/releases/tag/0.10.0
