A problem here. Why is the GBA Cheese Land BGM obnoxiously loud? It's painful with headphones and the sound is literally cracking.
Also, I have experienced some lag during the countdown in DS Desert Hills and through a good portion of GCN Wario Colloseum. Not sure about TT, but the lag is definitely there in GP mode

Sorry to bump again, but for the 1st place beats, what is the default bpm?

Nvm, I found it. It's 120 bpm.

Also managed to get frontrunning beats in sync for N64 Kalimari Icy Desert!
How did you find the default bpm?
Didn't Kalimari icy desert have frontrunning beats already in the music itself?

I changed the music to the one without frontrunning beats.

To find the default BPM.... Well that's a long story of hours of work... But to put it short:
1. Extract MK7 RomFS
2. Extract ctr_dash.bcsar
3. Convert CSEQs to MIDI
4. Find the MIDI responsible for frontrunning beats
5. Convert MIDI to WAV by playing it with a soundfont
6. Use the new WAV along with Sherbet Land music from MK8
7. From this I found the default speed at which the wav played was perfect
8. So using trial and error, I kept changing the BPM in the musicSlotsUser.ini file till it matched with the music in game
9. And voila! Default BPM for normal is 120 and for fast is 144!

Didn't even notice, are you sure?
Two places I'm sure of:
1. Kalimari Icy Desert (the portions where the railway track and road meet; no kart shadows)
2. Miku's Birthday Spec. (most of the road doesn't seem to have kart shadows)

I'll be happy to share screenshots if needed.

Edit: Attached are screenshots (using Kalimari Icy Desert as example)

I don't remember editing the kcl (which controls that stuff) for that track, no idea why it happens...

BTW, here is the new menu music that will be added in the next CTGP-7 update (made by Cochu U)

You mention not editing KCL for Kalimari Icy Desert, but what about Miku's Birthday Spec? (Screenshot included)

Here's a bug I found. Happens very often: I play Normal Worldwides and it will randomly decide to crash and show an error screen (see attachment screenshots). Last time around I remember when there used to be a crash in Cheese Land in offline mode, I was asked to disable L2 Cache. This crash occurs even after disabling L2 Cache.

Which game version and region do you have? The info shown in the top screen after clicking "Launch CTGP-7"

Btw, an update: The probability of the issue is reduced significantly when the clock rate is set to 268 MHz and L2 cache is disabled. Previously, I used to game online for 3-4 hours and had 5-6 crashes and at the lower clock rate without L2 cache it happened only ONCE in 5 hrs. Not that the issue is solved by lowering clock rate but chance significantly reduced. But do note this might have just been luck and I'm not 100% sure. Just an observation.

I don't really think there was a hacker in my race during those crashes.
A code was recently leaked that allows people to crash others online. It only takes one item to crash everyone in the room. It looks like this is the cause based on the crash dump you shared. The new update to CTGP-7 will have the online crasher patched.
