Hey all!

I'm having some troubles with loading into AMS via Hekate.

I am on FW 8.0.1 and just updated the latest version of Hekate in my RCMLoader.

I put the atmosphere folder in my root directory, and the three payloads into the Bootloader/payloads folder. I renamed payload.bin to atmosphere.bin.

I've tried booting from all three payloads, (atmosphere.bin, sept_primary and sept_secondary) but none get me into FW. When I boot sept_secondary, I get a screen with the sept logo but it doesnt go into FW.

Is there something that im missing here?

Thanks in advance!

Have you put the new fusee secondary payload onto your sd card

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Maybe try kosmos. Make a new card at sdsetup. Com

I really don't want to format my SD card if I dont have too. Does the sept_secondary have to go in the root dir?

Can you boot from fusee payload (that comes with Atmos)?

I managed to boot from the payload called sept_secondary but when I boot it says "fatal error sept derived incorrect keys!" then I press power to reboot, and it boots to AMS successfully. is there a way to create these keys?

You don't boot from sept. Sept is only used by Atmosphere (and other things that need it) and needs to be placed in the right folder.
As someone else said, do the setup with Kosmos, but delete the old files before you copy the new ones on.

Pretty sure it goes in atmosphere folder. You don't have to format to use kosmos just copy and paste and agree to copy over older files.

Ok I will backup my current files and try to reinstall from the SD site. Thanks everybody!

You only need to delete the CFW related files. Just to make sure there aren't old files left that will conflict with the new ones as that's known to cause issues.

Worked like a charm!

Just one more question, how do I install XCI files that I was using with SXOS? I saw a program called zeroTwoXCI here:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/zerotwoxci-the-xci-installer.518171/

but it says it does not work with AMS? is that still true?
If it does work, how do I extract my keys?

I used 2NXCI to convert. But latest Tinfoil from https://tinfoil.io/ can install them directly I think.

Edit: It needs the version of Hekate linked to on the download page. This should also get ZeroTwoXCI working.

That worked perfectly! The reason I needed to install xci over nsp is because I've been using SX for so long that I have so many.

Last question, If I uninstall autoRCM (Fuses from 4.0 FW) and accidentally cold boot without the Jig, my fuses will get burned right? will this cause a brick on FW 8.0.1 or will it just not allow me to downgrade again? ( I've never been online but I dont really care too)

It will burn fuses. I did it by accident the 1st time I booted the console without RCM (forgot to press the + vol button). It won't brick.
Also, I believe you're still able to downgrade to a lower firmware if you activate AutoRCM later, bypassing the efuse count, but am not sure and another person would need to confirm this.
