If you happen to have Sonic Adventure International and whant to play Sonic Adventure in Widescreen and 60 fps patch the game with the following codes.

60 fps code.
Find
3C 68 75 8C 40 68 75 8C 44 68 75 8C 48 68 75 8C 30 19 05 8C 84 64 60 8C 4A 5C 05 8C BC E3 1B 8C 40 46 64 8C 52 5C 05 8C EE 29 60 8C 5C 19 8A 8C
Replace
0C 68 75 8C 40 68 75 8C 44 68 75 8C 48 68 75 8C 30 19 05 8C 84 64 60 8C 4A 5C 05 8C BC E3 1B 8C 40 46 64 8C 52 5C 05 8C EE 29 60 8C 5C 19 8A 8C

Find
44 68 75 8C 0C E2 19 8C 84 65 75 8C 12 C2 06 8C 16 19 05 8C 1A A5 08 8C 84 A7 08 8C 00 40 E7 44 00 09 00 09 D0 63 05 E2 23 33 01 8B 01 7C A0 2D
Replace
38 DD 10 8C 0C E2 19 8C 84 65 75 8C 12 C2 06 8C 16 19 05 8C 1A A5 08 8C 84 A7 08 8C 00 40 E7 44 00 09 00 09 D0 63 05 E2 23 33 01 8B 01 7C A0 2D

Widescreen code.
FIND
24118A8C 5C118A8C 50118A8C 58118A8C

REPLACE
30118A8C 44231E8C 50118A8C 58118A8C

It has some minor problems, some 2D elements (like shadows) on screen are misplaced and the cutscenes play at 2x speed but if you've beaten the game a thousand times, like me and want to replay the stages the gameplay runs just fine at 1x speed @60 fps and Widescreen.

Video in action.

Cheers.

I wonder if that works on a real Dreamcast console

For those using nor2nsp, how does that actually work for games that are more than one disc. Does the channel read all discs.

Yeah that's where it's not really ideal. There is save states in Reicast though and you can just save and then go to the traditonal reicast by holding R on a game and swap discs, and you'd either have to make a new forwarder for the next disc or just use Reicast through homebrew. It's not really an issue for me I've beaten all my multi disc games except 1 if I decide to play through it I'd make another forwarder for the 2nd disc when/if I get there. It's only reading the disc you put the forwarder though.

I'm honestly just assuming on the disc swapping with reicast though I don't even know if it has that feature implemented yet or not.

Anyone had any success with texture upscaling? It seems like this renders in 720p and textures can look extra blocky because of it. I can't change the texture upscaling value because it seems to be selecting the arrow/category and texture upscaling amount at the same time in settings, so pressing B just closes it. Also not sure what Render to Texture Upscaling is supposed to do.

I play those on my Wii U but from just reading this thread Sonic Adventure 1 works 2 is really glitchy and not really playable I believe.

C'mon man, read the thread. Not yet, the graphics are messed up to an unplayable state currently. Number 1 works mostly perfectly

Gold plays full speed for me but the textures are super glitched. Rush 2049 is the only game that doesn't load up that I've tried so far. Just boots back to the bios menu.

Mortal Kombat Gold is a buggy game in general regardless if you have the original release or the later version. (the only way to know if you had the better version was if the cover had a redder tint to it I believe)

I know this is an alpha version for the Switch, but does disc swapping actually not work on reicast on RA? Not that I plan on playing any games that use it any time soon that require dynamic disc swapping (the only ones that I'm definitely aware of are Shenmue 1 and 2 and Resident Evil Code Veronica).

It looks nice, I like the gzd icon, how you edit the apps to show different icons?

I use 'NRO Asset Editor' it allows you to change the name, creator, version number, and the thumbnail

could you share these icons ? thanks

Here you go, there's extra ones because an older version of retroarch allowed you to stick the cores in the HB menu and I had them all listed separately
