has anyone managed to get a usb hard drive thats say 4tb to work on PS TV/Vita tv? i tried many methods, formatting it all converting it into mbr, and having one primary, active fat32 partition. didnt work. thing is I have 2 4 tb drives that i want to get one to work, evene if i can only use even as little as 500gb. If anyones got tips on the partitioning or formatting of the drives in this case, let me know! it's funny i have two useless 4tb drives but nothing smaller i could use. I always bought bigger sizes because i use alot of data and now its biting me in the butt

Hi,

I got a 2TB one working on my PSTV, you need to zzblankimg the drive (like with SD2Vita), then format it ex fat, I used 64kb cluster size (I am not certain which is correct for such a large drive)

You may need a USB Y cable to power the drive if it does not have it's own seperate power supply - the PSTV will not be able to supply the power it requires.
