so to use cbhc the sd card needs to be inside the console for it to boot? thats a new one. my sd card is always inside my wii u and when it is already on i pull it out to copy some games to it
No. Cbhc is on the consoles nand. You need it only to boot in the hbchannel from the "Autobooting" menu.

i think your mom installed a corrupted game to the nand. ask her if she did and if she indeed did, ill teach you how to delete it.

No the SD Card does not need to be injected if you just boot into the home menu (at least as far as I know)

She didnt even use a usb plug from the console, just boot and play, of course she does not as I have explained in 2 or 3 messages in this thread now haha :D (In the real internet this may cause a sexism shitstorm lul)

Any advices left? Maybe my last resort will be to call nintendo, remove the hacks and let them repair or replace it :/
But still, this thing bothers me since it boots into the DS title for haxchi stuff, why no home menu? dumping otp and stuff also worked.
Can you maybe explain on how to remove all installed titles but Dr Kawashima for haxchi? Like a "factory reset" by hand? Maybe this will fix the problem, maybe something got corrupted on the nand over time or the console crashed or something

Don't do that. If you can boot to HomeBrew Channel you can try a lot of different things, you can use FTP to browse your Wii U files and try to replace the system menu file with another one, I suggest that you wait until guys like FIX64 chime in and offer their advice.

Oh and BTW, afaik you can still boot games from HBC so you can try that.

Good luck.

Hello guys!

I installed haxchi and cbhc loooong ago and everything worked absolutely fine up until some point where it would not boot anymore into the system menu with error code 160-0103
It just boots to the cbhc screen where I choose to boot system menu. I dont really know what happened last to the console since my mother had it when it broke but I explained everything she should not do to her..
Can this happen randomly? Is my WiiU maybe just too old? I got it back on release day and hacked it when all these things got avaliable

I can still boot into Homebrew Launcher and it seems like I also got backups of the otp and stuff (not of the mmc, but maybe I can still get this?) Is there a way to restore without a hardmod? Or is this maybe just a tiny fixable error?

Thanks!
since you can still boot into the homebrew launcher, can't you just uninstall CBHC?

I will try to boot games through HBC, maybe that works but still a full working console would be better haha :D How do I get those people to see this thread? :)

Then how can he re-enter homebrew launcher w/o CBHC? Remember he can't access the system menu?
Maybe I misunderstood it, but he said

you should download the update from the servers and install it with wupinstaller (the original), that will reinstall the system menu and maybe make it work
