Omnislash will be getting its own thread, I will speak to MrEffler22 about it.
I'm also working on a mix of NT 1.5 with his Omnislash pack, but I will be holding off on any release of that until A. The entire game is finished and B. It has been thoroughly bug-tested and approved. I personally have had to re-release 1.5 fixes at least 3 times due to discovering bugs in either ChaOS or NT itself. For the sake of bandwidth and just general accountability, this wont see a release until I've played through it and can verify ALL enemies and locations are working without issue.
Also included will be a plugin to slightly overclock your Switch to increase performance, as the models for Omnislash are a little more intricate than base FFVII. That will also be tested to verify safety, but in all likelihood will not tax your Switch any more than BotW/Smash would.
Ask and you shall receive!
For those asking for extra mods, my personal setup is now...
I'm at a convention this weekend but I'll upload my layeredfs for this (and anything else I think to add) as soon as I'm home .

- ChaOS
- NinoStyle Battle Models
- Anxious Heart Complete OST
- Character voices when attacking
- Pixel art portraits
Is this 1.5 linked in the OP? Source points are generally broken there because the exe wasn't ported correctly. That's mainly why I've been working on 1.4.
Also you should always get +5 worth of items for every stat, the choice you make adds more stats on top of that.
It's likely that you were not using the correct exe, as this functionality was changed to require the modified exe in that version.Actually,
I also had the low source points problem on the PC IRO too, had to revert to 1.4. 1.5 Seems to be broken even on PC (unless it's an intended feature).

There are instructions in 7th Heaven to change the EXE your game boots. You need to switch it to FF7_nt.exe or something like that. Sorry you're finding out so late!Yeah, I saw that with the installer for PC, but I'm using the IRO. Maybe the IRO that works with 7th Heaven doesn't patch the EXE automatically? I'll take another look at it. Thanks.

I think right now to play NT 1.5 you have to sub in the included NT .exe, which is in fact going to break Menu overhaul. Personally I used 1.4 on the PC for that reason.
-) 100+ new bosses and enemies, with every story boss given a new set of moves and AI
-) About 40 or so 'unique' models made for enemies using in-game monster parts; we got a robot dragon in there somewhere
-) Quick but rewarding random encounters coupled with longer tougher boss fights
Drag and drop, no need to change a thing. Just make sure you're removing the extension for the exe. Keep in mind though that the vanilla combat version removes innates, something you'd arguably want as it benefits you for New Threat.Sega Chief released a vanilla combat version of New Threat now, with the updated events but default combat and enemies. Would it be possible to get this version playable on Switch too, and how would we go about porting it?

What is your interest in the vanilla version over the default?

For anyone using my "Plus" version of New Threat 1.4, I've released an update, v1.01. The most important part is editing the larger CHAOS textures down, which seems to have eliminated the random crashes, so you really should update to keep things running smoothly. Full changes below:
- capped CHAOS textures at 0.5k, fixing random crashes
- added some missing Avalanche Arisen battle textures
- added skybox, meteor, and map from FeliX Leonhart + Ste41k + Grimmy world texture pack
- Bugenhagen now sits on his ball rather than standing
- Re-Reverted Shinra guards and soldiers to CHAOS versions. Junon is still quite playable.
For the record, my Aeris does have a face, since I've always used the 7H .iro as a base.
