Ok it seems like it is just 99/infinite ammo for Rebecca only in the first slot. you can swap out handguns with billy and continue to always have 99 hand gun ammo.
Yeah, im looking up some stuff now that does suggest thats how it worked on the PC. Im currently working on an Item slot mod which can also help with that. Im using a starter save so I dont have many items to work with but I can fix that with this next cheat.

Im probably not the best to help with this specific platform. Ive only been working with it for about a week now. The tools for Switch cheats are also kinda lacking compared to other tools like Cheat Engine. I highly recommend starting by googling "Cheat Engine" and downloading it. Its really for PC apps mostly, but it comes with a decent enough tutorial that will help you understand concepts like pointers, offsets, and the basics of how values are read and written.
When you have a good grasp with that, I recommend Noexs for the Switch, its really the only decent tool (that I know of) for finding pointers. Its still a little limiting from what Im finding but, it will get you like 75% of the way there.

No worries, It's not like a credit thing or anything, Im really just reworking older cheat engine codes anyway. I have never played this game before so Im sure it's probably easier for somebody who might already be familiar with it.
I might do a timer cheat too if I can. I think between those 3 things this game should be squared away nicely enough.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -
