Is there a way to just have the launcher nro? so you don't have to have the standalone nro and the selector nro show up

Make a new folder in your switch folder, drop the GZDoom folder and the launcher nro into it, rename your new folder GZDoom and there you go, next time you look in the homebrew menu you’ll only see the launcher

I don't know then. The launcher is a simple SDL2 thing, there's no reason it shouldn't work.

i formatted to fat32 , put everything back on it as new , execpt the nintendo folder of course , now it work as intended . before , the launcher wasnt even getting an icon for some reason , just the basic nro file icon . so am all gonna put this on exfat fault somehow lol .

That means it was corrupted, most likely because due to an improper or interrupted copying process. exFAT in general is very volatile, however the port itself doesn't explicitly require FAT32.

Anyone knows what options do I need to make Ultimate Doom/Doom 2 or any of its brothers use the vanilla Doom HUD?
You know the grey box at the bottom of the screen instead of having the numbers with the icons on the corners.

You can make profiles for each one.
Like a profile named "Doom BMG" and select the appropriate WAD for it, and another called "Ultimate Doom" and then select its proper WAD. That's all you need.

Anyone else feel dirty being able to look up and down and jump? Yeah I know you can turn it off
I turn it off as soon as I begin playing, since I only use it for original Doom wads and Wolfenstein 3D TC.
Although I'd like to know if there's a way to disable it altogether from a config file or something, since it seems to always be enabled upon loading. regardless of my previous change.

Whenever I go into the Options, the letters get kinda small compared to the normal Doom letters.
Is there any way to like make the letters of the Options bigger?
This problem affects all my Doom wads and mods.
